4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Installation Steps:

2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Mark the desired location for the lamp on the wall. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark drilling points.
3. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
4. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate screws.
5. Wire Connections: Carefully connect the electrical wires from the wall to the lamp's terminals. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth). Refer to the wiring diagram provided with the product packaging if available.
6. Secure Lamp: Attach the lamp fixture to the mounting bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened and sealed against moisture.
7. Install Bulb: Insert an E27 bulb (max. 60W) into the lamp holder. The light source is not included.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Note on Parallel Connection: Parallel connection of multiple lamps is possible. Consult a qualified electrician for such installations.

5. Operating Instructions

The VEJERS SENSOR lamp is equipped with an integrated motion sensor for automatic operation.

5.1 Sensor Operation:

• Detection Angle: The sensor has a detection angle of 100-110°.
• Detection Range: The sensor can detect motion within a range of 0.2 to 8 meters.
• Pre-set Sensor Mode: The lamp is pre-set to illuminate for 1 minute upon detecting motion.

5.2 Manual Override Mode:

The lamp features an adjustable manual override mode, allowing the light to stay on for an extended period.

• To activate manual mode, typically you would quickly cycle the power switch (off-on-off-on) within a few seconds. Refer to the specific instructions on the product packaging for precise activation sequence.
• In manual mode, the light can be set to remain on for up to 5 hours.
• To return to sensor mode, cycle the power switch again or wait for the manual override period to expire.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your lamp.

• Cleaning: Clean the lamp regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
• Bulb Replacement:
  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before touching.
  3. Carefully unscrew the old E27 bulb.
  4. Screw in a new E27 bulb (max. 60W).
  5. Restore power.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and mounting for any signs of wear or damage. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
