Setup
- Battery Installation: The scale requires 2 x AAA batteries (included). Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven or soft surfaces (like carpet) can affect accuracy.
- Initial Calibration: For first-time use or after moving the scale, gently step on the platform until the display shows numbers, then step off. The display will show '0.0' or '0.00' indicating it is calibrated and ready for use.
- Unit Selection: On the underside of the scale, locate the unit conversion button. Press this button to cycle through the available units: pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or stone (st). Select your desired unit before weighing.

Operating Instructions
- Step-On Technology: The scale features innovative step-on technology. Simply step directly onto the scale platform. The scale will automatically turn on and display your weight.
- Reading the Display: Stand still on the scale. Your weight will be displayed on the backlit LCD screen. The display will flash a few times to indicate a stable reading, then lock the final weight.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

- "Err" Display: Indicates overload. The scale's maximum capacity is 180kg / 400lb. Remove weight immediately to prevent damage.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat, and stable surface.
- Perform initial calibration by stepping on and off the scale.
- Ensure you are standing still and centered on the scale.
- Check for any obstructions under the scale.
- No Display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted.
