2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the ZINUS Mia Platform Bed Frame is designed to be straightforward. Follow the steps below for proper setup. For detailed visual instructions, please refer to the official Installation Manual (PDF).
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the labels and the provided parts list.
- Assemble the Frame: Connect the main frame components using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are finger-tightened initially.
- Attach Legs: Securely attach the bed frame legs to the designated points on the frame.
- Tighten All Connections: Once the frame is fully assembled, use the included Allen wrench to securely tighten all bolts. Ensure the frame is stable and does not wobble.
- Place Wooden Slats: Unfold the wooden slats and place them across the frame. The slats are designed with a non-slip tape to prevent mattress movement. Please peel off the upper strip of the non-slip tape on the slats before placing your mattress.
- Optional Headboard Attachment: The frame includes pre-drilled openings on two of the legs, allowing for the attachment of a compatible headboard (sold separately).

5. Operating Instructions
The ZINUS Mia Platform Bed Frame is designed for straightforward use.
- Mattress Placement: Place your twin-sized mattress directly onto the wooden slats. No box spring is required.
- Under-Bed Storage: Utilize the 14 inches of clearance under the frame for convenient storage of bins, boxes, or other items.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Slat Inspection: Check wooden slats for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
