Temperature Control
- Adjusting Temperature: Rotate the control dial on the right side of the mixer (see Figure 3) to set the desired water temperature. Turning towards the left increases hot water, and turning towards the right increases cold water.
- Safety Stop: The thermostatic mixer is equipped with a safety stop at 40 °C (104 °F). To exceed this temperature, press and hold the small button on the temperature dial while rotating it further to the left.
Outlet Selection
The mixer features two outlets, typically for a hand shower and an overhead shower or bath filler. Each outlet is controlled by a dedicated Select button.
- Activating an Outlet: Press one of the two Select buttons located on the front of the mixer (see Figure 3) to turn on the corresponding water outlet.
- Deactivating an Outlet: Press the active Select button again to turn off the water flow from that outlet.
- Multiple Outlets: Both outlets can be operated simultaneously, depending on water pressure and flow requirements.
Flow Rate Characteristics
Figure 4 illustrates the flow rate characteristics of the ShowerTablet Select 700. The maximum flow rate at the hand shower connection (Outlet 1) is 30 l/min at 3 bar water pressure. The flow rate for each outlet is dependent on the incoming water pressure and the connected shower components.
