Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Timex Ironman Classic 30 Oversized 43mm Watch. Familiarize yourself with the watch's features and functions to maximize your experience.
Setup
Initial Setup and Time Setting
Your watch comes with a pre-installed Lithium Metal battery. To begin, ensure the watch is in Timekeeping Mode. If not, press the MODE button (bottom-left) repeatedly until the current time is displayed.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the SET/RECALL button (top-left) until "SET TIME" appears and a value starts blinking.
- Use the START/SPLIT button (bottom-middle) to increase the blinking value or the STOP/RESET button (bottom-right) to decrease it.
- Press the MODE button to advance to the next setting (e.g., hours, minutes, seconds, 12/24-hour format, year, month, day).
- Once all settings are adjusted, press the SET/RECALL button to exit setup and save changes.
Strap Adjustment
The watch features an adjustable black 20mm nylon Fast Wrap strap with hook & loop closure. Adjust the strap to fit your wrist comfortably, ensuring it is secure but not too tight.

Operating Instructions
Timekeeping Mode
This is the default display mode, showing the current time, day, date, and month. Press the INDIGLO button (top-right) to activate the backlight for visibility in low light conditions.
Chronograph (Stopwatch)
The watch features a 100-hour chronograph with 30-lap memory.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button once to enter Chronograph Mode. "CHRONO" will appear on the display.
- Press START/SPLIT to begin timing.
- Press START/SPLIT again to record a lap time. The lap time will be displayed briefly, while the chronograph continues to run in the background.
- Press STOP/RESET to pause the chronograph. Press START/SPLIT to resume.
- To reset the chronograph, ensure it is stopped, then press and hold STOP/RESET until the display shows "00:00:00".
- To recall stored lap times, press SET/RECALL while in Chronograph Mode. Use START/SPLIT and STOP/RESET to navigate through the stored laps.

Countdown Timer
The watch includes a 24-hour countdown timer.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button twice to enter Timer Mode. "TIMER" will appear.
- To set the timer, press and hold SET/RECALL until the hour value blinks.
- Use START/SPLIT to increase or STOP/RESET to decrease the blinking value.
- Press MODE to move between hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Press SET/RECALL to save the timer setting.
- Press START/SPLIT to start the countdown.
- Press STOP/RESET to pause the timer. Press START/SPLIT to resume.
- To reset the timer, ensure it is stopped, then press and hold STOP/RESET.
Alarms
Set up to 3 daily, weekday, or weekend alarms.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button three times to enter Alarm Mode. "ALARM 1" (or 2, 3) will appear.
- Press MODE to cycle through ALARM 1, ALARM 2, and ALARM 3.
- To set an alarm, press and hold SET/RECALL until the hour value blinks.
- Use START/SPLIT to increase or STOP/RESET to decrease the blinking value.
- Press MODE to move between hours, minutes, AM/PM, and alarm type (daily, weekday, weekend).
- Press SET/RECALL to save the alarm setting.
- To turn an alarm ON/OFF, press START/SPLIT while viewing the alarm in Alarm Mode. An alarm icon will appear when active.
Indiglo Backlight
Press the INDIGLO button (top-right) to illuminate the watch dial for easy reading in low-light conditions.
Date Format Adjustment
The watch supports different date display formats (e.g., MM-DD or DD-MM).
- From Timekeeping Mode, press and hold SET/RECALL until "SET TIME" appears.
- Press MODE repeatedly until "DATE" and the current date format (e.g., MM-DD) are displayed.
- Press STOP/RESET to toggle between available date formats.
- Press SET/RECALL to save the new format and exit.
Button Tones (Beep ON/OFF)
You can enable or disable the audible beep when buttons are pressed.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press and hold SET/RECALL until "SET TIME" appears.
- Press MODE repeatedly until "BEEP ON" or "BEEP OFF" is displayed.
- Press START/SPLIT or STOP/RESET to toggle the button tone ON or OFF.
- Press SET/RECALL to save your preference and exit.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean your watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: This watch is water resistant to 100m (330ft), suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Do not press buttons underwater. Not suitable for diving.
- Battery: The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified technician to maintain water resistance.
- Strap Care: The nylon strap can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before wearing.

Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: The battery may need replacement.
- Buttons not responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to advanced settings in full manual) or that the battery is not critically low.
- Incorrect time/date: Follow the "Initial Setup and Time Setting" instructions to re-adjust.
- Water inside watch: Immediately take the watch to an authorized service center.
