6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Empty and rinse the drip tray and water tank after each use.

6.2 Descaling

Regular descaling is recommended to maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your machine. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.

  1. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution (e.g., water and citric acid) according to the descaling product's instructions.
  2. Place a large container under the coffee outlet.
  3. Run several brewing cycles without coffee until the water tank is empty.
  4. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
  5. Run several cycles with fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Machine is noisy during operation. This machine is a 19Bar pressure espresso machine, some noise is normal. This is normal operation. No action required.
No crema or poor crema with ground coffee.Too fine a grind or insufficient tamping can clog the filter bowl, preventing crema formation.Choose about 15g Espresso Powder (Fine Salt size), and press the coffee powder with a Coffee Distributor & Tamper. Adjust grind size and ensure proper tamping.
Dripping after brewing.Due to the compatibility of a variety of capsules, the capsule recycling system design may be limited, leading to some dripping. This is normal and expected. Place a cup or container to catch drips.
Coffee is not hot enough.Normal espresso brewing temperature is 197-203°F, outlet temperature 172-185°F, and cup temperature 149-167°F (around 40ml). Pre-rinsing can help.Pre-heat your cup. Run a hot water cycle without coffee before brewing. Ensure the machine has fully preheated.
