4. Setup and Charging
4.1 Charging the Jump Starter
Before first use, fully charge the jump starter. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the jump starter's input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The LCD display will show the charging progress. Ensure the device is fully charged for optimal performance.
4.2 Connecting the Smart Battery Clamps
The smart battery clamps are designed for safe and easy connection. Insert the blue plug of the smart battery clamps firmly into the jump starter's 12V output port. Ensure a secure connection before proceeding to jump start a vehicle.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Jump Starting Your Car
Follow these steps carefully to jump start your vehicle:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is in Park (P) or Neutral (N) and the parking brake is engaged. Turn off all electrical loads (headlights, radio, air conditioning, etc.).
- Connect Clamps to Jump Starter: Insert the jump cable into the jump starter's output port.
- Connect Clamps to Car Battery:
- Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your car battery.
- Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your car battery.
The smart clip will display the car battery voltage. If the voltage is too low, the jump starter will automatically prepare for boosting.
- Start Your Car Engine: Once the smart clip indicates it's ready (e.g., a green light or specific display message), start your car engine.
- Remove Clamps: Immediately remove the smart battery clamps from the car battery once the engine starts. First, remove the BLACK (-) clamp, then the RED (+) clamp. Finally, disconnect the smart clip from the jump starter.

6. Maintenance
- Recharge Regularly: To prolong battery life, recharge the jump starter at least once every 3-6 months, even if not in use.
- Store Properly: Store the device in its carry case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cleanliness: Keep the device and clamps clean and free from dirt, dust, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid Damage: Do not drop, puncture, or disassemble the device. This can lead to damage and void the warranty.
7. Troubleshooting
- Vehicle Does Not Start:
- Check if the smart clamps are securely connected to both the jump starter and the car battery terminals.
- Ensure the car battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
- Verify the jump starter has sufficient charge.
- If the vehicle still doesn't start after 3-5 attempts, there might be a larger issue with the vehicle's battery or engine. Consult a mechanic.
- Jump Starter Not Charging:
- Ensure the USB charging cable is properly connected to both the jump starter and the power source.
- Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
- Check the power source (wall outlet, car charger) to ensure it is functional.
- LCD Display Not Working:
- Ensure the jump starter is powered on.
- If the device is fully discharged, the display may not light up immediately. Charge the device for a few minutes.
- Temperature Protection Lamp On:
- This indicates the device is operating outside its safe temperature range. Allow the unit to cool down or warm up to within the specified operating temperature (-4°F / -20°C to 140°F / 60°C) before use.
8. User Tips
- Always keep your jump starter charged, especially before long trips or during cold weather, to ensure it's ready when needed.
- Familiarize yourself with your car's battery location and terminal markings (positive/negative) before an emergency arises.
- In extremely cold conditions, keeping the jump starter in a warmer environment (e.g., inside the car cabin) until just before use can improve performance.
- The built-in LED light is very useful for nighttime emergencies; practice using its different modes.
