1. Introduction
The SHANLING SM1.3 is a high-end Hi-Fi streamer designed as an all-in-one desktop digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and amplifier (AMP). It features advanced audio technologies, including AK4191EQ and AK4499EX chips, Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and aptX support, and Hi-Res Audio capabilities. 3. Initial Setup
3.1 Connecting Power
- Ensure the SM1.3 is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the provided power cable to the AC IN port on the rear panel of the SM1.3.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable power outlet (110V or 220V, region-locked).
- Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position.
3.2 Attaching Antennas
- Screw the three provided Bluetooth/Wi-Fi antennas into their respective ports on the rear panel. Ensure they are securely tightened for optimal signal reception.

3.3 Audio Connections
The SM1.3 offers various audio output options:
- RCA Analog Out: Connect to your amplifier or active speakers using RCA cables.
- XLR Analog Out: For balanced audio connections to compatible amplifiers or active speakers.
- 6.5mm Headphone Output: Connect your headphones to the front panel jack.
- Digital Outputs (Coaxial, Optical, USB Audio, I²S): For connecting to external DACs or digital audio systems.

4. Operation
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, ensure the rear power switch is ON, then press the 'STANDBY' button on the front panel or use the remote control.
- To power off, press and hold the 'STANDBY' button or use the remote control.
4.2 User Interface and Navigation
The SM1.3 features a 5.8-inch 1080P Sharp Touch Screen with a deeply customized Android 12 system. The UI is designed for intuitive navigation:
- Main Menu: Access streaming services, music library, NAS, and settings.
- Playback Controls: Easily manage your music playback.
- Settings: Configure device preferences, network, and audio settings.

4.3 Streaming Services
The SM1.3 supports various built-in streaming applications, including Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more. Ensure your device is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to access these services.

4.4 Remote Control and Companion App
The SM1.3 can be controlled using the included remote control or the newly developed Eddict Controller app for iOS and Android. The app provides an enhanced experience for remote operation and screen mirroring for streaming applications.

5. Connectivity
5.1 Network Communication
- Wired LAN: Connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit LAN port for a stable, high-speed internet connection.
- Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi 6): The device supports Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4G / 5G) for wireless streaming. Configure Wi-Fi settings through the device's UI or companion app.

5.2 Bluetooth Input
The SM1.3 features a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.2 receiver, supporting advanced codecs like LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX LL, aptX, AAC, and SBC for high-quality, low-latency wireless audio input from your smartphone or tablet.

5.3 Local Storage and NAS
- Internal Storage: 64 GB internal memory.
- SSD M.2 Slot: Supports M.2 NVME 3.0 drives up to 2TB (drive not included) for expanded local music storage.
- NAS Support: Connect the SM1.3 to your local server for convenient streaming, with additional support for Samba for easier setup.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7. Troubleshooting
