2. Setup and Installation

Phone Compatibility

The universal phone clip is compatible with most smartphones, supporting a mounting range of 71-105 mm (2.8-4.1 inches). It can also be used with phones that have cases, utilizing the included EVA pads for proper alignment.

Quick Installation Guide

Follow these 4 steps for quick and secure installation:

  1. Pull: Pull the stretch clip's left side onto the left end of your smartphone.
  2. Push: Loosen the top screw and push the rail to align with the phone's main camera lens.
  3. Screw: Tighten the top fixed screw to secure the clip.
  4. Install: Insert the microscope directly into the slot. A 'click' sound will indicate successful installation.

  • Power Button: Long press to power on/off. Short press to adjust brightness (bright → brighter → brightest).
  • Function Button: Cycles through light modes: Full yellow → Half yellow → Full white → Half white → UV light.

Cleaning

  • Blurry Image: Ensure the microscope lens is perfectly aligned with your phone's main camera lens. Adjust the slide structure and tighten the fixed screw. Make sure the object is within the optimal focus distance (close to the surface of the object).
  • No Light/Dim Light: Check the battery level. Recharge the microscope if the battery indicator is red. Press the power button to cycle through brightness levels.
  • Glare on Image: Activate the CPL filter by pressing the function button until the desired effect is achieved, especially when observing reflective surfaces.
  • Microscope Not Fitting Phone: Verify your phone's width is within the 71-105 mm range. Use the appropriate EVA pads for phones with protruding camera lenses or cases to ensure a snug fit and proper alignment.
