5. Installation
Before proceeding with installation, ensure the main power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electric shock.
5.1 Wiring Diagram for Lights

This smart switch can also be used to control an AC motor. Please note that only one motor can run at a time when wired this way.

6. Setup
6.1 eWeLink App Installation
Download the eWeLink app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and create an account if you don't already have one.
6.2 Quick Pairing with eWeLink App
Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network with internet access. Your router should be MAC-open.
- Open the eWeLink app.
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select "Quick Pairing" or "Bluetooth Pairing" (if available).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to put the device into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the pairing button on the smart switch for a few seconds until the LED indicator blinks.
- The app will scan for nearby devices. Once found, select your device and connect it to your 2.4GHz WiFi network by entering the password.
- Once successfully added, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.

6.3 RF Remote Control Pairing (Optional)
If you have purchased a 433MHz RF remote control separately, you can pair it with the smart switch:
- In the eWeLink app, go to the device settings for your smart switch.
- Look for an option related to "eWeLink Remote" or "RF Remote".
- Follow the in-app tutorial to add a new remote. This typically involves holding the 433MHz Pairing button on the smart switch for 4 seconds, then long-pressing any key on your RF remote to match.
- To clear the code, long-press the pairing button on the smart switch for 10-15 seconds.

7.1 Control Methods
The eWelink 4 CH Smart Switch offers multiple ways to control your connected devices:
- Mobile App Control: Use the eWeLink app from anywhere with internet access.
- Voice Control: Integrate with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for hands-free control.
- RF Remote Control: Use a paired 433MHz RF remote (purchased separately) for local control.

7.2 Working Modes
The smart switch supports three working modes: Self-locking, Interlock, and Inching. You can configure these modes within the eWeLink app.
- Self-locking Mode: Each of the four channels operates independently. Turning one channel ON/OFF does not affect the others.
- Interlock Mode: Only one channel can be active (ON) at any given time. If one channel is turned ON, any previously ON channel will automatically turn OFF.
- Inching Mode: The device turns ON for a set duration (e.g., 0.5-3600 seconds) and then automatically turns OFF. The inching duration can be customized for each channel in the app.
