7. Troubleshooting (FAQ)
7.1 Why does the device fail to link to the APP?
- Q1: ZigBee products require a MOES/TUYA ZigBee gateway.
- Q2: Check if the router connected to your gateway has an external network connection. Ensure the gateway's Wi-Fi signal is strong and try reconnecting the gateway.
- Q3: Check if the device is too far from your gateway or other ZigBee devices that form a mesh network. Keep the ZigBee gateway and the ZigBee device close (recommended distance less than 5m).
- Q4: Verify that the device is in network distribution mode (LED flashing quickly).
7.2 After installation, why is the light not responding when I click the switch button?
- Q1: Please cut off the power supply and check if the wiring (if applicable to the controlled device) is correct according to its manual. For this wireless switch, ensure it's properly paired and linked to the smart devices in the app.
7.3 When the ZigBee gateway is not connected to the Internet, can devices on the ZigBee gateway interact with each other locally?
- Q1: If the linkage scenario was set in advance while the ZigBee gateway was connected to the internet, and the App prompted for local linkage after setting the scenario, then the ZigBee gateway can perform local linkages even without an internet connection.
8. User Tips
- This switch provides convenience and efficiency in controlling your smart devices.
- It supports a wide range of ZigBee-compatible equipment for scene automation.
- The compact size and long battery life (730 days) are key highlights, offering flexible placement without frequent battery changes.
- Remember that this device functions as a scene controller and requires a ZigBee hub and other Tuya smart devices to operate. It cannot be used alone to directly control non-smart devices or Wi-Fi-only devices without proper integration through the Tuya ecosystem.
