5. Setup

5.1 Physical Installation

  1. Mounting: The AT4PW is designed for universal 35mm standard DIN rail mounting. No screws are required for installation, making it convenient.
  2. Wiring: Connect the device according to the wiring diagram provided. Ensure correct connection of L-IN (Line Input), L-OUT (Line Output), N-IN (Neutral Input), and N-OUT (Neutral Output).

Note: Since the software resets the internal magnetic latching relay switch once during power on and startup of the equipment, the output must be connected to the equipment switch, and the power supply to the equipment must be controlled by the switch after the start of the meter is completed!

5.2 App Installation and Pairing

  1. Download App: Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya' application from Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).
  2. Power On: Power on the meter. The WIFI indicator will flash.
  3. Add Device: Open the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya' app. Click '+' to add a device. The app may automatically discover the device. If not, scan the QR code displayed on the meter's screen or manually add it.
  4. WiFi Pairing: Enter your Wi-Fi account password to complete the pairing process. Ensure your phone's location and Bluetooth are turned on. The device supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks only.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Display Overview

The 2.4-inch TFT-LCD HD color screen displays various electrical parameters and status indicators:

  • Main Measurement Display Area: Shows real-time Voltage (V), Current (A), Power (W), and Energy (KWh).
  • Indicators: Power Indicator, Bluetooth signal indicator (Bluetooth version only), WIFI signal indicator (WIFI version only).
  • Additional Data: AQI, PM2.5, Humidity, Air Temperature, and Calendar data are obtained via the Internet.

6.2 Key Button Operation

The device features three buttons for navigation and settings:

  • '+' and '-' Buttons:
    • Short press to switch between different functional test interfaces.
    • Long press to turn the device ON or OFF.
  • 'M' Button:
    • Long press to enter the background settings menu.
    • In the background menu, short press 'M' to switch to the next option.
    • Use '+' or '-' to set numerical values or switch between Chinese/English interface display.
