3. Setup and Charging
3.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the shaver. Connect the USB cable to the charging base and plug it into a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). Place the shaver into the charging base. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
3.2 Cordless Operation
The shaver is designed for cordless use after charging, providing up to 90 minutes of usage time on a full charge.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Shaving
The Kemei KM-3383 is intended for dry shaving only. Ensure your skin is dry before use. Turn on the shaver using the power button. Gently press the shaver head against your skin and move it in short, circular, or linear motions against the direction of hair growth. The twin blade system is effective for face, hair, and removing stubble.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Important: This shaver is NOT washable. Do not rinse under water or immerse in liquids.
5.1 General Cleaning
After each use, turn off the shaver. Remove the foil head by pressing the release button (refer to Figure 7). Use the provided cleaning brush to gently brush away any accumulated hair from the foil and the internal cutting blades. Reattach the foil head securely.
5.2 Blade Alignment (from OCR)
Your shears are carefully inspected to ensure that the blades are oiled and aligned before they leave our factory. If the blades are removed for cleaning or replacement, they must be re-aligned. Simply match the top and bottom blade teeth point to point upwards. (The ends of the top blade teeth should be approximately 0.5-1.0mm back from the bottom blade. Compare your scissor blades with the sketch). If the blades are not aligned correctly, put a few drops of oil on the blades, turn the shears open for a while, close and unplug them. Loosen the screw slightly and make adjustments until the blades are aligned then tighten the screw.
5.3 Cutter Maintenance (from OCR)
To keep your shears in top condition, the blades should be oiled every few haircuts. To oil it properly, the unit blades should be kept in the downward position. Run the shears with the blades through the top blade.
6. Troubleshooting
If the shaver is not performing as expected, consider the following:
- Not turning on: Ensure the shaver is fully charged.
- Poor shaving performance: Clean the foil head and blades thoroughly. Ensure blades are properly aligned.
- Unusual noise: Check for any trapped hairs or debris in the cutting mechanism. Ensure the foil head is correctly attached.
