- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50-70%.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app periodically for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and new features.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. For D5M, remember to use the camera body's power button first.
- Poor video quality: Check if the lens is clean. Ensure you are using a high-speed MicroSD card (Class 10 or higher). Verify the selected video resolution in the app settings.
- Wi-Fi connection issues: Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on the camera via the remote. Ensure your phone is within range and connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Remote control not working: Check the remote's battery. Ensure it's paired correctly with the camera.
