Note: After successfully pairing to your Windows device, you may notice that your Token Ring or BioStick shows up as ‘Not connected’ in your Bluetooth settings. This is normal; unlike other Bluetooth devices, Token’s authenticators only broadcast Bluetooth when interacted with and for 20-30 seconds at a time – because of this, most devices will not update the status that quickly to show ‘Connected’ in the Bluetooth settings.TR3-Token-Ring-fig (9)

FAQ

Q: Why does my Token device show as 'Not connected' in Bluetooth settings even after successful pairing?

A: This behavior is normal. Token's authenticators only broadcast Bluetooth when interacted with and for a short duration. Most devices may not update the status quickly to show 'Connected' in Bluetooth settings.
