A guide for setup SAMBA service

Introduction

SAMBA Service can allow you to browse and update the IFP’s files and storage from another device.

Setup steps

1. Enable the Samba service
➢ Go to Android settings – Samba service, tick the Samba
➢ Tick the “use password for protection” if you need use a password to login2. Check the IP address of this IFP
➢ Go to Android settings – WiFi – tap the icon of your WiFi that connected.➢ Find the IP address of this IFP3. Access through your Laptop or mobile devices
For Windows laptop user:
➢ Go to Windows file manager
➢ Input \\192.168.31.108 (replace with your IP address) ➢ Click the Share folder then you can access to the IFP’s storage. For Mac user:
➢ Open finder, Press “command + K”
➢ Input the IFP IP address.
➢ Input the password and username just set.
