UNUGLY Image Panel

Overview

Install the Unugly image panel by attaching steel plates and magnets to the cabinet corners, then mounting the panel to the double-sided tape and applying extra pressure for secure adhesion.

Specifications

• Mounting materials (referenced): steel plates (4), magnets (1 per corner), double-sided tape, wipe for cleaning.
• Cabinet-specific hardware: Torx 10 set screws used to secure magnetic brackets inside the cabinet (Roth 700/550 installation).
• Adjustment: panel can be adjusted for final alignment after mounting.

Quick Setup & Use

1. Metal/plastic cabinets: Clean each corner with the wipe and attach four steel plates. Place a magnet in each corner.
2. Place four steel plates onto the magnets with the tape side facing you.
3. Remove the plastic film from the double-sided tape.
4. Clean the backside of the panel with the wipe.
5. Press the panel onto the tape in the desired position; apply extra pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
6. Adjust the panel for final alignment.

Roth 700/550 cabinets (only): For a 700 cabinet, skip steps 1 and 2 because magnetic brackets are pre-installed. For 700/550, insert a magnet into each bracket, slide the bracket into the designated corner slot, tighten set screws with Torx 10, then mount the panel using the same tape steps above.

ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Installation of Unugly panel MOUNTED ON METAL AND PLASTIC CABINETS

SKIP STEP 1 if you have a metal cabinet.

1. Clean each corner of the cabinet with the wipe and attach the four steel plates.
2. Place a magnet in each corner.
3. Place four steel plates onto the magnets, with the tape side facing you.
4. Remove the plastic film from the double-sided tape.
5. Clean the backside of the panel with the wipe and press the panel onto the tape in the desired position. Apply extra pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
6. The Unugly panel can now be easily adjusted for final alignment.

INSTALLATION ON ROTH 700-AND 550-CABINET ONLY

SKIP STEPS 1 AND 2 if you have a 700 cabinet, as these come pre-installed with magnetic brackets.

1. Insert a magnet into each bracket, then slide the bracket into the designated slot in each corner of the cabinet.
2. Tighten the set screws inside the cabinet to secure the brackets (Torx 10).
3. Place four steel plates onto the magnets, with the tape side facing you.
4. Remove the plastic film from the double-sided tape.
5. Clean the backside of the panel with the wipe before pressing the panel onto the tape in the desired position. Apply extra pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
6. The Unugly panel can now be easily adjusted for final alignment.

• The magnets can snap together, pinch skin, and cause serious injury.
• Keep the magnets away from GPS devices and smartphones.

Keep magnets away from:

• Children: Small magnets pose a serious choking hazard.
• Pacemakers: Strong magnetic fields may interfere with pacemakers, ICDs, and other implanted medical devices.
• Magnetic media: They can damage credit cards, ID cards, and similar items.

Troubleshooting

• Panel not adhering securely: Re-clean the backside of the panel and the cabinet corner area with the wipe, remove the plastic film again, reposition, and apply extra pressure for proper adhesion.
• Alignment off after mounting: Use the panel’s ability to be adjusted for final alignment after it is placed on the tape.

Safety-related handling issue: If magnets snap together unexpectedly or pinch skin, handle magnets carefully to avoid serious injury
