Product Usage Instructions

Attaching the Microphone
Attach the shock mount to the mic stand or boom arm, securing it with the locking knob. Position the top facing up and the bottom nut down to prevent the mic from falling.

Positioning the Microphone
Align the front of the mic (marked SM20 and polar pattern) with the sound source, place it in the shock mount, and tighten the bottom nut securely.

Installing the Pop Filter
Install the included pop filter onto the shock mount as illustrated.

Connecting to Power Supply
For devices with 48V supply: Use Male/Female XLR Cable to connect to Audio Interface at the front. For devices without 48V supply: Connect to Audio Interface at the rear using Female XLR to 3.5mm Audio Cable and provide power using 48V Phantom Power Male/Female XLR Cable.

Cable Management and Power On
Secure the connecting cable to the stand or boom arm, leaving a loop at the mic position for shock isolation. Set device volume low before turning on the phantom power. Gradually increase volume to avoid damaging speakers. Maintain distance between the mic and speakers without pointing them towards each other to control feedback.

Mic Output Connection
The mic output features a three-pin XLRM connector. Pin configuration is illustrated as shown.

Operating Instructions

The pop filter maintains sound fidelity, while the windscreen offers better saliva protection but may affect mic aesthetics and slightly alter sound quality.
  4. Connect the mic to an audio device (e.g., audio interface, mixer, power amp) with a 48V phantom power supply using the included XLR cable. If the device lacks phantom power, purchase a separate supply.
    Note: Required phantom power specs: DC 48V ±4V / 2.8mA ±20%
