Quick Guide
CTO Vector Hatch Sensor
STEP 1
Start with a closed hatch. Find the correct installation location for the ector Sensor to be installed.
Clean the mounting area. Hinge side on the lower lip of the hatch.
This position minimizes the likelihood of damage to the unit.
STEP 2
Apply a thin, uniform coating of 3M Adhesion Promoter to the bonding surface before application of 3M VHB Tape. Use the minimum amount that will fully coat the area to be taped. 
STEP 3
Allow to dry completely. Depending on temperature and humidity, Typical drying time will be 1-2 minutes. Peel off the adhesive cover of the adhesive tape of the Vector Sensor and make sure no dirt or debris meets the adhesive.
STEP 4
Apply the Vector Sensor to the cleaned area on the hatch. make sure the device orientation is correct. The label text must be upright. Press firmly and evenly on the sensor case edges to adhere to the hatch. Apply 60 lbs of force for 20 seconds, wait 20 seconds, and repeat once more.
STEP 5
Click the + button, navigate to preferred scanning method
STEP 6
Hold smartphone NFC to the Vector sensor to verify connection and initiate the pairing process.
STEP 7
Sensor is now ready to be installed and paired.
Click the Continue button. 
STEP 8
Ensure photos are clear and legible. Click the Continue button. 
STEP 9
Select which mode to be used in operation, Hatch Click the Continue button.
STEP 10
Follow on-screen instructions to begin calibration. Click the Start Scanning button. 
STEP 11
Select hatch number from drop-down list.
Hatch sensor has been paired successfully. Click the Finish button.

STEP 1
Select MANAGE DEVICE for the desired device / sensor(s) you wish to unpair.
STEP 2
Select DEMOUNT DEVICE Press OK to confirm unpairing process for device / sensor(s)
STEP 3
Device / sensor(s) have been successfully unpaired from asset continue by clicking FINISH.
STEP 4
If applicable: Continue by installing the new device to the asset and use the Nexxiot Mounting App to connect the new device to the asset. When the device is taken out of service, it must be returned to Nexxiot Inc. (if not otherwise agreed contractually).
