SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
SAFETY GUIDELINES
To achieve maximum safety while using your Razer USB 4 Dock, we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines:
Should you have trouble operating the device properly and troubleshooting doesn’t work, unplug the device and contact the Razer hotline or go to support.razer.com for assistance.
Don’t take apart the device, and don’t attempt to operate it under abnormal current loads. Doing so will void your warranty.
Don’t place objects on top of the device.
Only use the provided cable, power cord, and adapter with your device, and opt for accessories that are either made by or approved by Razer. Non-standard accessories may not provide adequate power delivery or data transfer rates and may affect the dock’s performance and safety.
When disconnecting any device, avoid abruptly tugging on its cable wire. Instead, gently unplug it from its connector.
Make sure that the device is positioned in a well-ventilated area and that there’s enough space around it for air circulation.
Keep the device away from liquid, humidity or moisture. Operate the device only within the specific temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Should the temperature exceed this range, unplug and/or switch off the device in order to let the temperature stabilize to an optimal level.
MAINTENANCE
The Razer USB 4 Dock requires minimum maintenance to keep it in optimum condition. Once a month, we recommend that you power off the device, disconnect it from the power adapter and computer, unplug all connected devices, and clean it using a soft cloth or cotton swab to prevent dirt buildup. Don’t use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
