myFirstech DL-CH12 Jeep Cherokee PTS
FIRMWARE:
This installation requires BLADE-AL(DL)-CH12, flash module, and update the controller firmware before installing.
INSTALLATION:
Type 6 CAN connections utilize the optional CAN extension cable to source data from the vehicle BCM, connector C4 (CANL, pin #37, yellow, CANH, pin #38, brown)
IGNITION:
Type 6 ignition is at BCM connector C4 (60-pin connector, pin #3, brown). Caution, proper identification of circuits is crucial, there are two (2) brown wires in the same connector used for this install.

LED Programming Error Codes
- Module LED flashing RED during programming
- 1x – CAN Error
- 2x – Key code not learned
- 3x – No IGNITION
- 4x – No immobilizer, check CAN/key
- 5x – VIN error, check CAN wiring
- 6x – See 4x error
- 7x – KLON error
- 8x – No IGNITION, check connection
INSTALL GUIDE
MODULE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE – PTS
NOTE
- Close the driver’s door. bRe-open driver door to wake up data bus.
- Press UNLOCK on the OEM remote. (If the vehicle is not equipped with an OEM remote, press the module programming button.)
- Wait, LED will fl ash BLUE once [1x]. If the LED does not flash GREEN, repeat step 2.
- Set ignition to ON position.
- Wait, if LED turns solid RED proceed to step 6. If the LED flashes BLUE rapidly, proceed to step 10.
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- Repeat steps 4 to 6, eight times [8x].
- Set ignition to ON position.
- Wait, the LED will flash BLUE rapidly.
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- WARNING: Disconnect power last. Disconnect the module from the vehicle.
- Connect the module to the computer and proceed with extended programming.
- WARNING: Do not press the module\ programming button. Connect power first. Connect the module to the vehicle
. - Set ignition to ON position
- Wait, the LED will turn solid BLUE for 2 seconds.
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- Module Programming Procedure completed
WARNING: READ BEFORE REMOTE STARTING THE VEHICLE
IMPORTANT
All vehicle doors must be closed and locked before the remote start sequence. Failure to comply will result in a remote starter malfunction.

TIME RESTRICTI N COMING UP!
- Unlock the vehicle door using the OEan M after-market remote, or door request switch.
- TIME RESTRICTIN Within 45 SECONDS from the previous step: Open vehicle door. Enter vehicle. Close the vehicle door. Press and release the BRAKE pedal.
- Take-over procedure completed.
- Failure to follow procedure will result in vehicle engine shutdown.
