MyCableMart FE-ADT-345P Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2 for 2 Devices to Concurrent Network Pair
WARNING: The product, when used as directed, can allow for the use of a SINGLE ethernet cable to provide concurrent connectivity to two devices (such as 2 computers). This product is sold as a PAIR (2 units) and the pair MUST be used together and as directed to achieve the capabilities of providing 2 concurrent networked devices on your network.
This product is sold as a PAIR (2 splitters) that MUST be used together. ONE splitter device (#1) is connected to a router (or networking switch) using TWO RJ45 ports. A SINGLE ethernet cable is then connected from splitter (#1) to the second splitter (#2). 2 concurrent network ports are then available at splitter #2.
2 example usages are diagrammed below. BOTH ports MUST be connected to the router (or networking switch) to Splitter #1 for this connectivity to work properly:
