Product Usage Instructions
Single Channel Mode
This mode provides single-channel bandwidth operations and is
enabled when only one module is installed or when the memory
capacities are not equal.
Dual Channel Mode
Dual-channel mode is enabled by installing two identical memory
modules. It provides increased bandwidth compared to single-channel
mode.
Triple Channel Mode
Triple-channel mode requires the installation of three identical
memory modules. It operates similarly to dual-channel mode but
offers enhanced performance.
Quad Channel Mode
Quad-channel mode is activated by installing four identical
memory modules. When fewer modules are installed, the memory will
operate in dual or triple-channel mode depending on the
configuration.
Rules to Enable Multi-Channel Mode
Refer to your machine’s manual to identify which slots support
multi-channel mode. Ensure that identical modules are installed in
the correct configuration for optimal performance.
FAQ
Q: How do I know if my memory modules are running in
multi-channel mode?
A: Check your system specifications or use diagnostic tools to
verify the current memory configuration.
Q: Can I mix different memory module capacities in
multi-channel mode?
A: It is recommended to use identical memory modules for
multi-channel configurations to ensure compatibility and optimal
performance.

SINGLE CHANNEL MODE
This mode provides single-channel bandwidth operations and is enabled when only one module is installed or when the memory capacities are not equal.
DUAL CHANNEL MODE
Dual-channel mode is enabled when two (or a multiple of two) identical modules are installed into dual-channel enabled slots. Dual-channel mode offers higher memory throughput and is enabled when the memory capacity of both modules are equal. Dual-Channel is simply an additional function, however this is not available on all computers. If your computer supports dual-channel memory, we ALWAYS recommend taking advantage of this feature which usually provides around a 10% to 30% increase in performance. If memory is installed in unmatched pairs (e.g 4GB plus 8GB), then dual-channel mode is simply disabled, however the computer will still function correctly if the memory is not matched.
TRIPLE CHANNEL MODE
Triple Channel works the same as dual-channel mode but requires you to install three (or a multiple of three) identical modules instead of just two.
QUAD CHANNEL MODE
Quad-channel mode is enabled when four (or a multiple of four) identical modules are installed into quad-channel enabled slots. When two memory modules are installed they will run in dual-channel mode. When three memory modules are installed, they will run in triple-channel mode.
RULES TO ENABLE MULTI-CHANNEL MODE
· Compatible hardware that supports multi-channel memory configurations* · Same memory size in each slot. Examples: 8GB, 16GB, 32GB · Matched memory configuration in each channel · Matched in symetrical memory slots. Example: Slot 1 & Slot 3*
*Please refer to your machine’s manual to confirm which slots support multi-channel mode.
