Product Overview
This document provides a quick start guide for the iHome iBT915 Color Changing Portable Boombox.

Key Features and Controls
- Mode Conversion (M button): Short press to cycle through Bluetooth, FM, AUX, U disk, and TF card modes. Long press in FM mode to automatically search for channels.
- Volume/Track Control (+/- buttons): Short press the '+' button to increase volume or long press for the next song. Short press the '-' button to decrease volume or long press for the previous song.
- Light Effect (M button): Short press to switch lighting effects. Seven kinds of lights can be switched when music is playing.
- Power/Pause (M button): Long press to power ON/OFF. Short press to play or pause music.
Ports and Indicators
- AUX PORT: Insert AUX line for external power supply.
- USB PORT: Insert USB to play MP3 music. Maximum workable capacity for USB is 64GB. Devices with more than 64GB may not work.
- TF PORT: Insert TF card to play MP3 music. Maximum workable capacity for TF card is 64GB. Cards with more than 64GB may not work.
- DC 5V Charging Port: Connect the supplied USB charging cable here.
- Charging Indicator: The red light is on when charging; the red light is off when fully charged.
Charging the Speaker
Charge the unit before use for approximately 2 hours.
Use the supplied USB charging cable and a UL/ETL certified USB AC adapter (not included).

Water Resistant Cover
Before using near water, ensure the water-resistant cover is completely flush with the unit. Press along the entire edge of the cover until it is securely in place.
FM Radio Operation
Long press the 'M' button in FM mode to automatically search and store FM stations. Then, long press the '+' or '-' button to select a stored FM station.
Speakerphone Function Operation
- Short press the button to answer and hang up a call.
- Double press the button to redial the last phone number dialed.
True Wireless Pairing (TWS)
(Requires 2 Speakers)
- Pair one iBT915 unit to your device via Bluetooth.
- Power on the second iBT915 unit.
- Press and hold the 'M' button for 2 seconds on each unit.
- When both units are linked, they will announce "Left Channel" and "Right Channel" respectively.
- Both units will link TWS automatically the next time they are powered on together.
- To remove True Wireless pairing, press and hold the 'M' button for 10 seconds.
Bluetooth Operation
- Power on and enter Bluetooth mode. Then, turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth to search for the device named "iHome iBT915". If prompted for a pairing password, enter "0000" and click OK to connect.
- Short press the button for play/pause BT music.
- Long press the '+' button for the next song and long press the '-' button for the previous song.
Battery Information and Disposal
Internal Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery: This device uses an internal, non-replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion battery designed to last the lifetime of the device. If you suspect the battery is dead, try charging it for an extended period and resetting the unit.
WARNING/DISPOSAL OF UNIT: Do NOT attempt to change the battery, as this will void the warranty and could cause injury or damage. To dispose of the unit, follow these guidelines:
- Never dispose of used batteries/electronics with ordinary solid waste due to potential toxic substances.
- Always dispose of used batteries/electronics in accordance with prevailing community regulations.
- Many electronics retailers offer free recycling for batteries and electronic components. Visit www.call2recycle.com to find a drop-off location.
General Battery Precautions:
- Do not use or charge a battery if it appears leaking, discolored, deformed, or abnormal.
- Never disassemble the unit or attempt to remove the battery, as this could cause leakage of corrosive substances.
- Avoid charging when temperatures are outside the range of 5°C - 35°C (41°F - 95°F).
- Never expose a battery to liquids.
- Never expose a battery to excessive heat (direct sunlight, fire) or use in unventilated vehicles with high internal temperatures.
- Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Important Safety Instructions
- Do not use this product near water.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
- Unplug the unit and clean only with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents like benzene or thinner, which can damage the surface.
- Do not block ventilation openings. Install according to manufacturer instructions.
- Keep away from heat sources like radiators, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods.
- Damage Requiring Service: Service is required if the plug is damaged, objects have fallen into or liquid spilled into the enclosure, the unit has been exposed to rain, dropped, or the enclosure is damaged, or if the unit shows a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
- Do not place naked flame sources, such as lit candles, on the product.
- Pay attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- This product is suitable for tropical and/or moderate climates.
WARNING:
- Do not dispose of batteries in household trash or fire.
- The mains plug of the power adapter is the disconnect device and must remain readily operable.
- If the unit will be unused for an extended period (a month or longer), charge it fully before storage.
- Always use a UL/ETL certified charging adapter (not included) and the supplied USB charging cable.
