Product Overview
The iHome iBT700 PLAYPRO is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for versatile audio playback.
Controls and Features
The speaker features several controls for playback and connectivity:
- [Power Button]: Press to turn the unit ON/OFF. Press and hold to check battery status when the unit is ON.
- [Volume Up Button]: Increases the volume.
- [Volume Down Button]: Decreases the volume.
- [Play/Pause/Speakerphone Button]: Press to Play or Pause audio. Press to answer or end calls. Press and hold to reject a call or activate Google/Siri.
- [EQ Mode Button]: Press to cycle through different EQ modes (e.g., indoor, outdoor) to optimize sound for your environment.
- [Bluetooth Pairing Button]: Press and hold until the LED indicator flashes blue to enter pairing mode.
- [Bluetooth Pairing LED]: Indicates Bluetooth status. Flashes blue when pairing, solid blue when connected.
- [Reset Button]: Located on the unit. Use a thin tool (like a paper clip) to press this button to reset the device.
Charging the Speaker
To charge the speaker:
- Connect the included [USB Charging Cable] to the [Micro USB Charging Port] on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a [USB AC Adapter] (not included).
- CHARGE UNIT BEFORE USE ABOUT 4 HOURS.
- The [Charging LED] indicates charging status.

- Blue LED: Indicates Bluetooth status.
- Red LED: Indicates Battery status.
Battery Status
- RED OFF: Charging (slow blink).
- RED OFF: Fully charged.
- RED (fast flash): Low battery.
Bluetooth Status
- BLUE (flashing): Pairing mode.
- BLUE (solid): Connected to Bluetooth.
Splashproof Cover
Before using the speaker near water, ensure the splashproof cover is completely flush with the unit. Press along the entire edge of the cover until it is securely in place. A properly sealed cover is indicated by a checkmark (✔️), while an unsealed cover is indicated by an X (❌).

General Precautions
- Unplug unit and clean only with a damp cloth. Avoid strong cleaning agents.
- Do not block ventilation openings.
- Keep away from heat sources.
- Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.
- Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods.
- Service should be performed by qualified personnel if the unit is damaged (e.g., damaged plug, spilled liquid, dropped unit).
- Do not place naked flame sources (like candles) on the product.
- Dispose of batteries responsibly according to community regulations.
- Suitable for tropical and/or moderate climates.
Battery Precautions
- Do not attempt to change the internal battery; this voids the warranty and may cause injury.
- Never use or charge a leaking, discolored, or deformed battery.
- Never disassemble the unit or attempt to remove the battery.
- Charge rechargeable batteries between 5°C and 35°C (41°F - 95°F).
- Do not expose batteries to liquids or excessive heat (direct sunlight, fire).
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not dispose of batteries in household trash or fire.
Usage and Storage
- The mains plug of the power adapter is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.
- If the unit is to be unused for a month or longer, charge it fully before storage.
- Always use a UL/ETL certified charging adapter (not included) and the supplied USB charging cable.
