CTEK START/STOP Battery Charger & Maintainer
Model Number: 1070
Key Features and Functions
The CTEK Start/Stop is a battery charger and maintainer designed for various 12V lead-acid batteries, including WET, MF, Ca/Ca, GEL, and is optimized for AGM and EFB batteries. It offers safe, fast charging, battery testing, and maintenance for maximum battery performance and lifetime.
Key Functions:
- Desulfation (STUFE 1): Detects and removes sulfates from battery plates to restore capacity.
- Soft Start (STUFE 2): Checks if the battery can accept a charge, preventing charging of faulty batteries.
- Bulk (STUFE 3): Charges the battery to approximately 80% capacity at maximum current.
- Absorption (STUFE 4): Charges the battery from 80% to 100% capacity with decreasing current.
- Analyze (STUFE 5): Tests if the battery can hold a charge; batteries that cannot hold a charge may need replacement.
- Float (STUFE 6): Maintains the battery at its maximum voltage by applying a constant voltage.
- Pulse (STUFE 7): Maintains battery capacity at 95-100% by providing charge pulses as needed.
Indicator Lights:
- Error Lamp (Fehlerleuchte): Indicates an error condition.
- Power Lamp (Netzleuchte): Indicates the charger is connected to the mains power.
