1. Product Introduction
The DMC-100 is FNIRSI's latest 10,000-count intelligent clamp digital multimeter, offering a wider measurement range and higher resolution to help achieve more accurate measurements. It can precisely measure AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and is also capable of testing continuity, capacitance, frequency, resistance, diodes, temperature, NCV (Non-Contact Voltage), and live wires. This device is suitable for use in engineering, laboratories, vehicle maintenance, and household electrical repairs across various electronic fields.
The DMC-100 is equipped with a 2.0-inch full-color TFT display with a high resolution of 240*320. The new UI interface design, along with features such as data curves, data storage, and power measurement mode, enriches the user experience, making it easier to read and operate in various scenarios.
2. Panel Introduction
The clamp digital multimeter features the following components:
- Clamp Head: The primary component for measuring current.
- NCV Probe: For Non-Contact Voltage detection.
- Flashlight Function: Located on the device body.
- Clamp Trigger: Activates the clamp head.
- Screen: Displays measurement data and interface information.
- Confirm/Switch Button: Used to confirm selections or switch functions.
- Left Button: Navigates left or up in menus.
- Settings Button: Accesses the settings menu.
- HOLD Button: Used for data hold and switching ranges.
- MODE Button: Used to switch between test functions.
- V-A Button: Used for switching ranges and accessing power measurement.
- Power On/Off Button: Turns the device on or off.
- Charging/Data Transfer Port (Type-C): For charging the battery and data transfer.
- Black Probe Interface (COM): For connecting the black test lead.
- Red Probe Interface (INPUT): For connecting the red test lead.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Main Interface
The main interface displays the following information:
- 1 Measurement Range: Indicates the current measurement range.
- 2 Measurement Parameter: Shows the value being measured (e.g., Current, Voltage).
- 3 Unit: Displays the unit of measurement (e.g., A, V, Ω).
- 4 Minimum Value: Shows the minimum recorded value during the measurement.
- 5 Maximum Value: Shows the maximum recorded value during the measurement.
- 6 Function Indicators: Icons representing various functions like AC/DC current, Voltage, Resistance, Frequency, NCV, etc.
- 7 HOLD Indicator: Appears when data is held.
- 8 Z Indicator: Appears when data is reset.
- 9 Battery Level Indicator: Shows the remaining battery power.
- 10 NCV Indicator: Appears when Non-Contact Voltage is detected.
Functionality of Buttons on Main Interface:
- HOLD Button: Short press to switch measurement ranges (DC Current, DC Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Live/Neutral Line Detection). Long press to hold the current test data.
- MODE Button: Short press to switch between other test functions within the current range (e.g., DC Current/AC Current). Long press to enter/exit waveform display.
- V-A Button: Short press to switch measurement ranges (right). Long press to enter/exit power measurement page.
- Flashlight Button (Long Press): Turns the flashlight on or off.
- Data Reset (DC Current Only): Short press the power button to reset data. The 'Z' indicator will be displayed.
- Battery Level: The indicator shows full, low, or critically low battery. A low battery will trigger a warning and automatic shutdown countdown.
5.2 Waveform Display Interface
Long press the MODE button to enter the waveform display interface. This interface shows:
- 1 Measurement Parameter
- 2 Unit
- 3 Measurement Range
- 4 Waveform Display: Visualizes changes in measurement data over time.
- 5 Data Saving: Short press the SAVE MENU button to save data (up to 8 sets, more in settings).
- 6 Minimum Value
- 7 Maximum Value
5.3 Power Measurement Interface
Long press the V-A button to enter the power measurement interface, which automatically recognizes AC and DC inputs. It displays:
- 1 Current Data
- 2 Power Calculation
- 3 Voltage Data
5.4 Settings Interface
Long press the SAVE MENU button to enter the settings interface. Options include:
- 1 Settings Options: History Records, System Settings, Factory Reset, About.
- 2 Specific Settings:
- History Records: Short press SAVE MENU to save data during measurements (up to 30 sets).
- System Settings:
- Language: Simplified Chinese / English
- Brightness: 10 levels adjustment
- Temperature Unit: °C / °F
- Auto Power Off: OFF / 5 min / 15 min / 30 min
- Factory Reset: Restores factory settings.
- About: Displays brand information and version number.
