FNIRSI-1014D Two-in-One Digital Oscilloscope and Signal Generator

Product Instructions

Product Introduction

The FNIRSI-1014D is a versatile two-in-one digital oscilloscope and signal generator developed by FNIRSI. It is a cost-effective dual-channel desktop oscilloscope suitable for maintenance and R&D industries. Key features include:

Serious Warning!

  1. When using both channels simultaneously, the ground clamps of the two probes must be connected together. It is strictly forbidden to connect the ground clamps of the two probes to different potentials, especially to different potential terminals of high-power equipment or 220V, as this will burn the oscilloscope motherboard. Both channels are grounded together, and connecting to different potentials will short-circuit the internal ground wires of the motherboard, which applies to all oscilloscopes.
  2. The BNC input of the oscilloscope can withstand a maximum of 400V. It is strictly forbidden to input more than 400V when the probe is set to 1x.
  3. The original power supply must be used. It is strictly forbidden to use the power supply or USB of other devices under test. Otherwise, the motherboard ground wire may be short-circuited during the test.
  4. A 100x probe (for ultrasonic welding machines, ultrasonic cleaning machines, etc.) or even a 1000x probe (for high-voltage ends of high-frequency transformers, induction cooker coils, etc.) must be used to measure high-frequency and high-voltage signals.

Solemnly Remind

The bandwidth of a 1x probe is 5MHz, and the bandwidth of a 10x probe is 100MHz. When the measurement frequency is higher than 5MHz, the switch on the probe handle needs to be moved to 10x, and the oscilloscope also needs to be set to 10x. Otherwise, the signal will be greatly attenuated, which is typical for all oscilloscopes. The oscilloscope's probe line has a capacitance of 100-300pF, which is significant for high-frequency signals. When the signal reaches the oscilloscope input through the probe, it is greatly attenuated, and the equivalent bandwidth is 5MHz. To match the hundreds of pF of the probe line, the input end of the probe line will attenuate the signal 10 times (when the switch is in the 10x gear), allowing the hundreds of pF capacitor to be used for impedance matching. At this point, the bandwidth is 100MHz. Note that only probes with 100MHz bandwidth or above can be used.
