Introduction to HDL410 coordinate

The coordinate setting guide in this document only works with firmware v1.7.18.

Instead of using solely mist technology in coverage map, zones will be used.

CamConnect directs camera(s) when voice sources are detected in Nureva zones.

This guide assumes familiarity with HLD410 setup and room level setup. If not, please see below first:

Step 1: Login Nureva Console to set coverage map.

• Login your Nureva device.
• Select HDL410 device to set coverage map.

The Nureva Console interface displays rooms, analytics, organization, and users. The 'Rooms' view shows the total number of rooms, rooms that are all good, rooms with warnings, and rooms with issues. A specific room, '501Room', is selected, showing its device as HDL410 with firmware version 1.6.254555 and online status. A 'Coverage map' option is available.

Step 2: Define plan in HLD410 coverage map.

• Adjust the default dimensions within the coverage map to accurately define your room size.
• Create and position zones to be used with local integrations.

An example of a room layout is provided, showing dimensions A: 8.5 m and B: 7 m. The room is divided into four zones: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, and Zone 4. Each zone is associated with a person and a camera input. For instance, Zone 1 is for 'person 1' and uses 'cam 1'. The guide also specifies the mapping for each zone: Zone 1 = When person 1 is speaking use cam 1 preset 1, Zone 2 = when person 2 is speaking use cam 1 preset 2, Zone 3 = when person 3 is speaking use cam 2 preset 3, and Zone 4 = when person 4 is speaking use cam 2 preset 4.

Step 3: Operating and setting up CamConnect's zone map

• Connect "HLD410 (coordinate)" microphone. When microphone and cameras are connected (HDMI interface).
• Click "Zone Map" to the setting page of zone map. Click "Refresh Layout" to import and sync Nureva zones into CamConnect.

Note: Due to system limitations, the Zone name may not be changed if the zone renames on Nureva.

The interface shows 'Zone Map & Detection' with details like Room Size, Microphone, IP Address, and Zone Quantity. Voice Source Detection is configured, showing coordinates (X,Y) and camera information. An 'Apply' button is present. The visual representation shows 'These are your Zones' with four distinct zones labeled Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, and Zone 4, connected to Port 1 and Port 2 of the HDL410.

Step 4: Set the Preset No. by Zone No.

Make sound to trigger the HDL410 microphone and set up the preset No. according to the Zone No.

The diagram illustrates the room layout with zones and camera connections. A table titled 'Device & Camera Mapping' lists Zone No., Camera, Mapping Qty., and Preset No. XY. For example, Zone 1 is mapped to camera VC-A61P with preset 1, and Zone 2 to the same camera with preset 2. Zone 3 and 4 are mapped to 'Public Test' camera with presets 3 and 4 respectively. The table also shows options for zones 5 through 8, which are set to 'Off'.

Highlighted in red text explains: Person 1 speaking, zone 1 is used and CamConnect triggers camera 1 (VC-A61P) Preset 1 to track that person in the entire area of zone 1 (enabling AI tracking in the camera's AI setting).

Best Practices

1. Operate HDL410 coordinate ONLY in HDMI interface of CamConnect.
2. Do Not place zones too close to each other.
3. Avoid zones overlap.
4. Do not place zones too close to room wall.
5. Avoid using real size (dimension) of room; instead, imagine a virtual dimension around your area of interest.
6. If there are random jumping or pick up of voice source (green LED in HDMI), fine-tune your audio trigger level.
7. After defining “virtual room dimension and zones", go to Nureva and recalibrate your HDL410.
8. Read carefully HDL410 Nureva’s recommendation when setting up a room.
