Installation Instructions
- Safety First: Ensure the power supply is turned OFF at the circuit breaker before starting installation.
- Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs. Ensure it is level. The diagram shows using screws and wall plugs, with the bracket positioned at the 'TOP'.
- Wiring: Connect the wires from the power supply to the corresponding terminals in the fixture. The diagram shows connecting live, neutral, and earth wires to a terminal block. Ensure secure connections.
- Attaching the Fixture: Mount the Samondra fixture onto the installed bracket. Secure it in place using the provided screws.
- Testing: Turn the power supply back ON at the circuit breaker. Test the motion sensor and light functionality.
Operation and Adjustments
The Samondra features adjustable settings for the motion sensor and timer:
- Sensitivity Adjustment: Adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor to detect movement within the desired range.
- Time Adjustment: Set the duration for which the light stays on after motion is detected.
- Lux Adjustment: Adjust the light sensitivity to ambient light levels, determining when the sensor becomes active.
The diagrams illustrate how to adjust these settings using the dials on the fixture.
Maintenance
Regularly clean the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
