Getting Started with Your Frigidaire Electric Double Wall Oven

Before You Start

Set up your oven: Remove all packaging material and tape. Ensure oven racks are properly in place before operating. Refer to your Use & Care Manual for maintenance tips.

Set your clock: Navigate to Menu Options, select Clock, then touch Set Clock to set the time.

Before cooking for the first time: Set your oven to Bake at 350°F (177°C) for approximately 30 minutes. Some initial noises and smoke are normal as the oven settles in.

You're In Control

Your oven controls: Begin operating your oven by pressing the control keys.

Get Started

1. Press the ON/OFF button or touch the screen.

2. Select UPPER OVEN or LOWER OVEN.

3. Select Start to initiate a bake cycle at 350°. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the temperature.

4. To choose a different cooking mode, touch Oven Modes and scroll through the available options.

5. Touch Start. To cancel cooking at any time, touch Cancel.

Use the Timer or Cook Time feature to monitor your cooking duration. Setting Cook Time will automatically turn off the oven once the specified time is complete.

Oven Mode Highlights

  • Bake: Provides gentle, rising heat for delicate foods.
  • Convect Bake: Uses a fan to circulate heat for faster, more even results, especially when baking with multiple racks.
  • Broil: For broiling and grilling foods under direct, high heat.
  • Keep Warm: Maintains serving temperature for cooked foods (140°F / 60°C to 200°F / 93°C).
  • Delay Start: Allows for a delayed start time for Bake, Convect Bake, and Self Clean modes.
  • Cook Time: Counts down the set cooking time and automatically shuts off the oven.

Remember

  • Do not use aluminum foil or other materials to line the oven bottom, walls, racks, or any part of the oven.
  • Remove all oven racks before initiating a self-clean operation.
  • For additional cooking and rack position tips, consult your Use & Care Manual.

Quick Care

A little love goes a long way: Consistent care ensures your wall oven performs optimally for years.

Be gentle: Clean the oven with warm water and mild soap, or use Frigidaire ReadyClean™ Oven and Microwave Cleaner.

Choose your clean cycle: SELF CLEAN uses high temperatures to break down heavy soils into ash, which can then be easily wiped away. Select a cleaning duration of 2, 3, or 4 hours.
