7. AC Input Reset and EPS
AC Input Overcurrent Reset Key
If the overcurrent protection is activated, the reset key will pop out. Remove the connected device and press the reset key again to restore normal operation.
EPS (Emergency Power Supply)
This function allows the unit to supply power to electrical devices during a power outage. Connect the unit to the electrical device using the AC cable. Normally, the device draws power from the mains. If the power is suddenly cut off, the unit automatically switches to battery power supply mode within 20ms (0.020 seconds). This is not an instantaneous switch, so it is not suitable for equipment requiring uninterrupted power, such as data servers or workstations. Test thoroughly before use for such applications. Connecting multiple devices simultaneously may activate overload protection, preventing power supply. It is recommended to connect only one device at a time.
In EPS mode, charging and discharging can occur simultaneously (bypass mode). If the battery's maximum output is below the rated output of 3000W before a power outage, the output may be limited to 1440W. It will return to 3000W after the outage.
8. Charging Methods
AC Charging
Use the included AC charging cable.
Solar Charging
Jackery SolarSaga 60, 100, 200 Connection Instructions:
For connecting 1 or 2 solar panels, connect the SolarSaga panel's DC8020 connector to the Jackery Portable Power Station 3000 Pro's DC8020 port for charging. For connecting 3 or 4 solar panels, use a solar panel series adapter (sold separately) as shown in the diagrams below. Please refer to the adapter's instructions for detailed operation.
Caution: When using both DC input ports to charge the Jackery Portable Power Station 3000 Pro simultaneously, ensure the maximum output and number of solar panels connected to each port are matched.
Warning: Incorrect connection methods as shown below may damage the unit. Please be cautious.
Jackery SolarSaga 80 Connection Instructions
Users who purchased Jackery SolarSaga 80 can charge the unit by following the connection methods shown below. Jackery SolarSaga 80 can be connected in parallel or in parallel followed by series to charge the unit. The Jackery Portable Power Station 3000 Pro supports input from up to 6 Jackery SolarSaga 80 panels per input port. For 6 panels, divide them into two groups of 3 and connect them in parallel, then charge the portable power station via a solar panel series adapter (sold separately).
For detailed instructions on parallel connection of Jackery SolarSaga 80, please refer to the solar panel's user manual.
Note: Users can determine the number of solar panels to connect. Currently, connections for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 12 panels are supported.
9. DC Adapter and Car Socket Charging
DC7909-DC8020 Transformer Jack Instructions
The solar panel connection cable has a DC7909-DC8020 transformer jack at the tip. Connect this jack to the portable power station 3000 Pro. Two transformer jacks (DC7909-DC8020) are also included with the portable power station 3000 Pro.
Caution: Do not attempt to connect 3 x 100W or 200W solar panels in series to the Jackery Portable Power Station 3000 Pro without an adapter. Overvoltage protection may activate, preventing charging.
Car Socket Charging
This product supports charging via a 12V car cigarette lighter socket. To prevent draining the car battery, start the engine before using the car socket for charging. Ensure the car's charging port and the cigarette lighter plug of the input cable have good contact. Confirm that the plug can be inserted securely into the socket. If the vehicle experiences significant vibration due to road conditions, charging may become unstable. To prevent overheating and potential damage to the contact points, discontinue charging if contact is poor. Jackery is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use of the product.
Charging Safety Precautions
- Car socket charging is for 12V vehicles only; it cannot be used with 24V vehicles. To avoid personal injury or property damage, do not use 24V for charging this product.
- Do not use accessories other than Jackery brand for charging. It is especially recommended to use Jackery solar panels for solar charging. Jackery is not responsible for any losses incurred due to charging with third-party solar panels.
