Charging the Explorer 160
CHARGE FIRST! Before initial use, fully charge the Explorer 160. There are four primary methods to recharge:
- Wall Charger: Approx. 5 hours for a full charge.
- Car Charger: Approx. 5 hours for a full charge.
- Electric Generator: Approx. 5 hours for a full charge.
- Solar Panels (Optional): Approx. 5 hours for a full charge (weather dependent).
Charging Indicators: The LCD screen displays the battery level. The screen will flash when the battery capacity drops to 20% and 10%.
Power Saving: The unit automatically shuts off after 6 hours if the output power is below 10W.
Using the Explorer 160
Power Button: Press to check the remaining battery level.
Output Buttons (AC/DC/USB): Press the respective button to turn on/off each output. Ensure outputs are turned off when not in use to conserve battery.
LED Flashlight: Press the button once for the LED flashlight. Press and hold for 2-3 seconds for the SOS function. Press again to turn off.
Power Consumption Limit: The Explorer 160 will automatically shut off if the total output exceeds 100W. Ensure your connected devices consume less than 100W.
Temperature Alarm: The unit operates best between -10-40 °C (14-104 °F). It may stop working if the ambient temperature is outside this range.
