Getting Started: Unpacking and Preparation

This guide provides instructions for unpacking and installing your Samsung TV. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth setup.

Step 1: Unpacking the TV

Carefully open the box. The contents will vary slightly depending on your TV size (75-inch or 85-inch).

For 75-inch models: Follow the specific unpacking instructions shown. Ensure you have adequate space.

For 85-inch models: Follow the specific unpacking instructions shown. These models are larger and heavier, requiring more careful handling.

Verify that all components are present before proceeding. Look for accessories, stand parts, and the TV itself.

Step 2: Connecting Cables

Identify the various ports on the back of your TV:

• USB Ports: For connecting external storage devices like USB drives or external HDDs. One port is typically rated for 5V 0.5A (?), suitable for smaller devices, while another is rated for HDD (? 5V 1A) for larger storage.
• HDMI Ports: For connecting video and audio sources such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, or streaming devices. Ensure you use the HDMI port labeled "(eARC)" or "ARC" ([eARC/ARC]) for audio output to soundbars or receivers.

VESA Mounting Specifications:

• For QA75QN900FXXZW: 400 x 400 mm, using M8 screws (13-15 mm length).
• For QA85QN900FXXZW: 600 x 400 mm, using M8 screws (13-15 mm length).

Step 5: Safe Handling and Positioning

Caution: Do not place the TV on its side or upside down for extended periods, as this can damage the screen or internal components. Ensure the TV is always placed upright on a stable surface or securely mounted.
