Power Safety:

  • Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity, as this may cause fire or electric shock. Refer to power specifications for voltage and amperage information.
  • Place power-supply cords so they are not likely to be walked on or pinched. Pay attention to cords at the plug end, wall outlets, and where they exit the appliance.
  • Never insert anything metallic into the open parts of this apparatus; this may cause electric shock.
  • To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of this apparatus. Only a qualified technician should open it.
  • Ensure the power cord is firmly seated. When unplugging, always pull on the plug, not the cord. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
  • If the apparatus does not operate normally (unusual sounds or smells), unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
  • To protect from lightning storms or for long periods of disuse, unplug from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.
  • Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, leakage, or fire due to sparks, heat, or deteriorating insulation.
  • Use only a properly grounded plug and wall outlet. An improper ground may cause electric shock or equipment damage (Class I Equipment only).
  • To turn off completely, disconnect from the wall outlet. Ensure the wall outlet and power plug are readily accessible for quick unplugging.

Installation Safety:

  • Do not place the apparatus near or over a radiator or heat register, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Do not place vessels containing water on the apparatus, as this can result in fire or electric shock.
  • Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.
  • Contact an authorized Samsung service center for information if installing in locations with heavy dust, extreme temperatures, high humidity, chemical substances, or where it will operate 24 hours a day (e.g., airports, train stations). Failure to do so may lead to serious damage.
  • Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.

Mounting the TV on a wall:

If mounting this TV on a wall, follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly. Incorrect mounting may cause the TV to slide or fall, resulting in serious injury or damage.

  • To order a Samsung wall mount kit, contact a Samsung service center.
  • Samsung Electronics is not responsible for damage or injury if you install the wall mount yourself.
  • Samsung is not liable for damage or injury when using non-VESA or non-specified wall mounts, or when installation instructions are not followed.
  • Mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. For surfaces other than plasterboard, contact your nearest dealer. Mounting on a ceiling or slanted wall may cause it to fall and result in severe injury.
  • It is recommended to fasten all four VESA screws when installing a wall mount kit.
  • For wall mounts using only two top screws, ensure it's a Samsung kit that supports this installation type (availability may vary by region).
  • Do not mount the TV at more than a 15-degree tilt.
  • Standard wall mount kit dimensions are shown in the Unpacking and Installation Guide.
  • Warning: Do not install your wall mount kit while your TV is turned on. This may result in personal injury from electric shock.
  • Do not use screws longer than the standard dimension or that do not comply with VESA standard screw specifications, as they may damage the inside of the TV.
  • For mounts not complying with VESA specifications, screw length may differ.
  • Do not fasten screws too firmly; this may damage the product or cause it to fall, leading to personal injury. Samsung is not liable for such accidents.
  • Always have two people mount the TV onto a wall. For 82-inch or larger models, four people are required.

Providing proper ventilation for your TV:

When installing your TV and One Connect Box, maintain at least 10 cm distance between them and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) for proper ventilation. Failure to do so may result in fire or product problems due to increased internal temperature.

*: One Connect Box Supported Model Only

  • When installing with a stand or wall mount, use only parts provided by Samsung Electronics. Using parts from another manufacturer may cause difficulties or injury from product falling.

Other Cautions:

  • The actual appearance of the TV may differ from the images in this manual, depending on the model.
  • Be careful when touching the TV; some parts can be warm or hot.

Safety Precaution (Preventing TV from Falling):

Caution: Pulling, pushing, or climbing on the TV may cause it to fall, leading to serious injuries or death. Do not hang on or destabilize the TV.

Follow all safety precautions in the included Safety Flyer. For added stability and safety, consider purchasing and installing an anti-fall device.

Warning: Never place a television set in an unstable location. The television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death.

Many injuries can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

  • Always use cabinets or stands or mounting methods recommended by Samsung.
  • Always use furniture that can safely support the television set.
  • Always ensure the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
  • Always educate about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
  • Always route cords and cables connected to your television so they cannot be tripped over, pulled, or grabbed.
  • Never place a television set in an unstable location.
  • Never place the television set on tall furniture (e.g., cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.
  • Never place the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.
  • Never place items that might tempt climbing, such as toys and remote controls, on the top of the television or furniture on which the television is placed.
  • If relocating an existing television set, apply the same considerations.
  • When relocating or lifting the TV for replacement or cleaning, be sure not to pull out the stand.

Preventing the TV from falling (Anti-fall device installation):

[Wall-anchor not supplied]

  1. Using appropriate screws, firmly fasten a set of brackets to the wall. Confirm that the screws are firmly attached to the wall. (You may need additional material like wall anchors depending on the wall type.)
  2. Using appropriately sized screws, firmly fasten a set of brackets to the TV. (Refer to the Unpacking and Installation Guide for screw specifications.)
  3. Connect the brackets fixed to the TV and the brackets fixed to the wall with a durable, heavy-duty string, and then tie the string tightly.
  4. Install the TV near the wall so that it does not fall backwards.
  5. Connect the string so that the brackets fixed to the wall are at the same height as or lower than the brackets fixed to the TV.

Precautions when installing the TV with a stand (The Frame only):

When installing with a stand, avoid placing the stand on the back part of the table surface. Failure to do so may cause the motion sensor at the bottom of the TV not to work properly.

Operation Safety:

  • This apparatus uses batteries. Contact your local authorities for disposal or recycling information regarding environmental regulations.
  • Store accessories (remote control, batteries, etc.) out of reach.
  • Do not drop or strike the product. If damaged, disconnect the power cord and contact a Samsung service center.
  • Do not dispose of remote control or batteries in a fire.
  • Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or overheat batteries.
  • After removing the screen protective film, never remove the polarizing film. (If the protective film removal label is not found, the film is already removed.)
  • Caution: Danger of explosion if batteries are replaced with the wrong type. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
  • Warning: Do not use liquid fumigators containing chemicals (e.g., mosquito repellent, air freshener) around the product. Steam contact may cause stains or malfunction.
  • Warning: TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF FIRE, KEEP CANDLES AND OTHER ITEMS WITH OPEN FLAMES AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AT ALL TIMES.

Caring for the TV

  • To clean, unplug the power cord and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals like wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents, as they can damage the appearance or erase printing.
  • Wipe the exterior and screen carefully with a soft cloth to prevent scratches.
  • Do not spray water or liquid directly onto the TV. Liquid ingress may cause failure, fire, or electric shock.
