Installation Steps
- If the hard drive is not formatted, format it first.
- Switch off your computer.
- Set hard disk or DVD drive jumpers to MASTER position.
- Connect the adapter to the hard drive or DVD drive. (See Figure 1 for IDE drives, Figure 2 for ATAPI CD/DVD drives).
- Connect the SATA data cable to the adapter.
- Plug in the power cable to the adapter and to the hard drive or DVD drive.
- Switch on the computer.
- Check for hard drive or DVD drive detection in your PC's BIOS.
- The adapter is working; no drivers are needed to be installed.

Cautions and Information
⚠️ CAUTION: Data SATA cable, as well as power-supply cable, are not included in the retail package. They are usually supplied together with a new computer or motherboard.
ℹ️ INFO: The adapter has a connector enabling connection to a PC case LED indicating hard drive activity.
⚠️ CAUTION: In case of problems with CD/DVD writers, set the SATA controller in BIOS to compatibility mode - IDE emulation. Search for 'SATA and IDE' items.
Warranty Conditions
- All AXAGON products are covered by a 24-month warranty from the date the buyer has taken the product.
- Warranty claims can only be applied to the AXAGON product Seller who provided the Buyer with it.
- Goods under complaint must be delivered complete, including supply power cables, adapters, media with drivers, and other accessories, if possible in original packaging.
