Installation and Settings
Important Note: Pin 1 on headers is indicated by a [Pin 1 indicator] or a thick white line.
Memory Installation
Follow these steps to install RAM modules:
- Open the [memory slot latch]s at both ends of the memory slot.
- Align the memory module with the slot, matching the notch, and press down firmly.
- The latches will automatically spring up to secure the module.
- Note: Grey slots are main slots, black are secondary. Always insert into the main slot first. A single slot installation may not pass memory self-test.
Graphics Card Installation
- Remove the chassis baffle plate and screws.
- Unlock the PCIe slot retention clip.
- Insert the graphics card firmly into the PCIe slot.
- The retention clip will automatically lock.
- Secure the graphics card to the chassis with screws.
- Connect the necessary power cables.
CPU Installation
Note: Ensure the [Heatsink mounting notch] is inserted correctly.
- Identify the [CPU triangle marking]s on the CPU and the CPU socket plastic clip.
- Align the CPU with the socket, matching the triangle markings.
- Place the heatsink module over the CPU.
- Align the heatsink's [Heatsink mounting notch] with the corresponding holes on the motherboard (positions C, D). Ensure the heatsink's [Heatsink groove] aligns with the side of the CPU socket bracket (positions A, B).
- Using a [T30 Torx Driver], tighten the screws in the sequence 1, 2, 3, 4.
CPU Removal
- Using a [T30 Torx Driver], loosen the screws in the sequence 4, 3, 2, 1.
- After removing the screws, carefully lift the heatsink module off the CPU socket.
