Installation and Settings

CPU Installation

Procedure:

  1. Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard.
  2. Identify the alignment marks on the CPU (e.g., golden triangle, notches) and the socket.
  3. Carefully lift the retention arm of the CPU socket.
  4. Align the CPU with the socket's indicators and gently place it into the socket. Do not force it.
  5. Lower the retention arm to secure the CPU.

Memory Installation

Procedure:

  1. Open the clips on both ends of the memory slot.
  2. Align the notch on the memory module with the corresponding protrusion in the slot.
  3. Insert the memory module straight down into the slot.
  4. Press down firmly on both ends of the module until the clips on the slot automatically snap into place, securing the memory.

Graphics Card Installation

Procedure:

  1. Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord.
  2. Remove the expansion slot cover(s) on the computer case corresponding to the desired PCIe slot.
  3. Open the retention clip on the PCIe slot on the motherboard.
  4. Align the graphics card with the PCIe slot and press it in firmly until it is fully seated. The retention clip should snap shut.
  5. Secure the graphics card to the computer case with screws.
  6. Connect the necessary power cables from the power supply to the graphics card, if required.

SATA Interface

Procedure:

  1. Connect one end of the SATA data cable to the SATA port on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to the SATA port on your storage device (HDD or SSD).
  3. Connect a SATA power cable from the power supply unit to the storage device.
