Installation Instructions
- Undo the two torx screws and the finger nut to loosen the plastic rear wheel arch liners.
- Locate the two existing horizontal holes in each chassis member. (Bend the edge of the heat shield out of the way to gain access).
- Clean all mastic from around all holes and mating surfaces.
- Using Item G with Item L and Item D pass through the existing holes and loosely bolt Item B and Item C to the inside face of each chassis members, secure with Item K and nuts provided. Note: Care must be taken when passing the spacer bushes (Item D) through the existing mounting holes as the chassis is enclosed. Note: the forward right hand bolt may need spacing out with the washer (Item L) provided.
- Using Item H bolt Item A to Item B and Item C.
- Using Item J with Item M, bolt Item E to Item A using the correct holes for vehicle (see sketch).
- Using Item F bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the towbar is rigid and secure.
- Replace fixings in wheel arch liners and bend heat shield back into place.

It shows the main crossmember (A), side arms (B, C), extension bar (E), and various bolts, nuts, and washers (F, G, H, J, K, L, M). The diagram also highlights correct hole locations for both Renault Clio and Grand Modus vehicle applications, indicating where specific bolts and washers are used.
Notes
1. Recommended Torque Setting for M12 Grade 10.9 -139 Nm. (For other Torque Settings see notes overleaf.)
2. Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturers' trailer / caravan weight limits must be observed.
