Main Features

- ON time range: 5 seconds to 30 minutes.
- OFF time range: 5 seconds to 60 minutes.

- The unit is preset to 24-hour mode out of the box.
- To activate one of the three modes: Turn both knobs fully to the desired setting. Ensure each knob is turned until it cannot go any further. The unit will not activate if the knobs are not fully turned.
Installation and Setup
Step 1: Set ON/OFF Duration
This step involves adjusting the two control knobs on the timer to set the desired ON and OFF durations. The timer displays settings in seconds (sec) and minutes (min).
ON Time: Duration for which equipment will run.
OFF Time: Duration in between ON times.
Example: If a device is required to run for 15 minutes and stop for 20 minutes, turn the ON time dial until the indicator aligns with the 15-minute mark and turn the OFF time dial until the indicator aligns with the 20-minute mark.
Step 2: Plug into 125VAC Outlet
Plug the timer into a standard 125VAC grounded outlet. The timer is designed to be used with grounded devices.
Example Use: Connect an irrigation pump (or other load) to the timer's socket.
Optional Settings
Change To 24-hour Control
Follow these steps to set the timer for 24-hour operation:
- A. Set both values to minimum: Adjust both the ON and OFF time knobs to their minimum settings.
- B. Plug in, then set both values to maximum within 5 seconds: Plug the timer into the outlet. Immediately after plugging in, turn both knobs to their maximum settings within 5 seconds.
- C. Output light turns on or off according to actual setting: The output indicator light (?) will show the current state based on the settings.
- D. Follow instructions as shown in Steps 1&2: Proceed with setting specific ON/OFF durations as described in the installation steps.
Change To Day Control
Follow these steps to set the timer for Day Control mode (operates only during daylight, controlled by the light sensor):
- A. Set both values to maximum: Adjust both the ON and OFF time knobs to their maximum settings.
- B. Plug in, then set top value to minimum followed by button value to minimum within 5 seconds: Plug the timer into the outlet. Immediately after plugging in, set the top knob (ON time) to its minimum, followed by setting the bottom knob (OFF time) to its minimum, all within 5 seconds.
- C. Output light turns on or off according to actual setting: The output indicator light (?) will show the current state.
- D. Follow instructions as shown in Steps 1&2: Proceed with setting specific ON/OFF durations.
Change To Night Control
Follow these steps to set the timer for Night Control mode (operates only during darkness, controlled by the light sensor):
- A. Set both values to maximum: Adjust both the ON and OFF time knobs to their maximum settings.
- B. Plug in, then set bottom value to minimum followed by top value to minimum within 5 seconds: Plug the timer into the outlet. Immediately after plugging in, set the bottom knob (OFF time) to its minimum, followed by setting the top knob (ON time) to its minimum, all within 5 seconds.
- C. Output light turns on or off according to actual setting: The output indicator light (?) will show the current state.
- D. Follow instructions as shown in Steps 1&2: Proceed with setting specific ON/OFF durations.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Timer does not work in the day.
Possible Causes and Solution:
- Timer is set to Night Control mode. Please switch to Day Control mode.
- Remove dust or other obstacles from the light sensor located on the upper left corner.
- The ON timer is too short and the OFF time is too long. Please check the dials.
Problem: Timer does not work.
Possible Causes and Solution: Check the power supply to the timer.
Problem: Timer does not work in the night.
Possible Causes and Solution:
- Timer is set to Day Control mode. Please ensure the timer is in Night Control mode.
- Ensure the front of the timer is not exposed to light.
- The ON time is too short and the OFF time is too long. Please check the dials.
Problem: Timer works day and night in Day Control mode.
Possible Causes and Solution:
- Timer is set to 24-hour Control mode. Please ensure the timer is in Day Control mode.
- Ensure the timer is located with sufficient light in the day.
- Remove dust or other obstacles from the light sensor located on the upper left corner.
Problem: The ON time is too long or too short.
Possible Causes and Solution: Turn the dial to the next or previous scale.
Problem: Timer does not work properly: it turns on and then turns off in a short moment.
Possible Causes and Solution:
- Ensure the front of the timer is not exposed to light.
- Ensure the light controlled by the timer will not light up the front of the timer.
