Hoover ONEPWR Blade Cordless Vacuum User Manual

This document provides instructions for the Hoover ONEPWR Blade Cordless Vacuum. It includes safety warnings, assembly steps, operation guidelines, maintenance procedures, accessory information, and warranty details.

Safety Instructions

WARNING: When using an electrical product, basic precautions should always be followed to avoid electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Always read all safety warnings and instructions before using this product.

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND INJURY. NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BATTERY PACK OR CHARGER TO WATER, MOISTURE, OR FLUIDS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORROSIVE OR CONDUCTIVE FLUIDS, OR ALLOW FLUIDS TO FLOW INSIDE THESE ITEMS.

BATTERY DISPOSAL WARNING: RISK OF EXPLOSION OR EXPOSURE TO TOXIC MATERIAL.

Lithium-ion batteries must be collected, recycled, or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. The RBRC Battery Recycling Seal indicates participation in an industry program for collection and recycling. Visit www.rbrc.org/call2recycle/ for more information.

CAUTION - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:

Assembly

WARNING! Battery tools are always in operating condition. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position when not in use or carrying.

If parts are damaged or missing, call 1-800-406-2005.

Product Assembly (See Figure 1, page 7)

  • Install the dirt cup onto the handheld by rocking it into place.
  • Push the reach wand down onto the powered nozzle until it clicks.
  • Push the handheld down onto the reach wand until it clicks.
  • Before first use, fully charge the battery (up to 3-4 hours). Insert the charged battery into the handheld.

Wall Mount Assembly (See Figure 2, page 7)

  • Choose a desired location for the wall mount.
  • Place the mount on the wall at the desired height, mark anchor locations, install anchors, and screw the mount to the wall.
  • Store the vacuum by firmly pressing it into the wall mount to secure. Ensure it is locked in place.
  • Accessories can be stored by sliding them onto the top of the wall mount.

Charging Your Product (See Figure 3, page 8)

  • Charge the battery fully before first use (3-4 hours). Batteries are not fully charged at purchase due to federal regulations.
  • Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  • Attach the battery pack to the charger by aligning ribs and grooves, then slide the pack into the charger.
  • Charging lights on the battery will illuminate; the charger light will flash.
  • A flashing red charger light indicates an error with the battery or charger; try again or call customer service.
  • Once charging is complete, battery and charger lights will turn off.
  • To remove the battery pack, press latches and pull up.
  • Charging temperature range: 32 to 86°F (5 to 30°C). The charger will indicate errors for temperatures outside this range.

Using Your Product (See Figure 4, page 8)

  • Press the ON/OFF button on the handle. The ON/OFF button and battery level indicator lights will illuminate.
  • Activate Eco Mode by pressing the button on the dashboard to maximize runtime.
  • The vacuum defaults to hard floor mode with a slow brush roll. For carpets, press the Carpet button on the dashboard.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of personal injury from moving parts, turn the power switch OFF and disconnect the battery pack before connecting or disconnecting accessories.

Handheld Mode (See Figure 5, page 8)

  • Press the handheld release button and pull to separate the handheld from the reach wand.
  • Choose an accessory.
  • Push the accessory into the handheld until it clicks.

Cleaning Up High (See Figure 6, page 8)

  • Press the powered nozzle release button and pull to remove the powered nozzle from the reach wand.
  • Choose an accessory.
  • Push the accessory into the reach wand until it clicks.

CAUTION! Not to be used for grooming a pet.

WARNING! To avoid injury, keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and body parts away from the revolving brush.

Maintenance

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack before cleaning or performing maintenance.

General Maintenance

  • Avoid using solvents on plastic parts, as they can be damaged. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, and grease.
  • This product contains no serviceable parts.
  • If the appliance is not working correctly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped in water, contact customer service at 1-800-406-2005.

Emptying the Dirt Cup (See Figure 7, page 8)

  • Remove the battery pack.
  • Push down the dirt cup latch to release. Tilt and lift to remove the dirt cup.
  • Hold the dirt cup over a trash bin and press the dirt cup release button to empty.
  • To close, push the door until it locks.
  • Replace the dirt cup by rocking it back into place.

Cleaning the Filter and Cyclone (See Figure 8, page 9)

  • Open the dirt cup lid to access the filter.
  • To clean the cyclone, lift to remove. Wipe the metal screen with a cloth to remove dirt and debris, then replace it in the dirt cup.
  • Pull the filter away and tap over a trash can to remove dirt. Rinse the filter under warm water until clear. Allow filter to dry for 24 hours before reinserting.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the vacuum without the filter or cyclone in place.

IMPORTANT: Do not use soap or other chemicals to clean the filter. Dry filter completely (up to 24 hours) before reinstalling.

Removing and Replacing the Brush Roll (See Figure 9, page 9)

WARNING! Risk of personal injury; brush roll may suddenly restart. Turn power switch OFF and remove battery before cleaning or servicing.

  • Remove the powered nozzle from the reach wand. Using a coin, push and turn the brush roll lock counterclockwise to release the brush roll.
  • Pull the brush roll out of the powered nozzle.
  • To remove threads or hair, slide a scissor blade into the groove of the brush roll and cut along the groove. Clear dirt/debris from end caps and housing.
  • Re-fit the brush roll and turn the lock clockwise to lock.

Microfiber Hard Floor Nozzle (See Figure 10, page 10)

  • Remove the powered nozzle from the reach wand. Using a coin, push and turn the brush roll lock counterclockwise to release the brush roll.
  • Gently lift the brush roll from the nozzle cavity.
  • To remove debris, gently wipe the brush roll with a dry cloth. Clear dirt/debris from end caps and housing.
  • Re-fit the brush roll and turn the lock clockwise to lock.

Thermal Protector

Your cleaner has a thermal protector to prevent overheating. If it activates, the cleaner will stop. To reset:

  1. Turn cleaner OFF and remove the battery pack.
  2. Empty the dirt cup.
  3. Inspect the filter and cyclone for obstructions and clear them.
  4. After removing the battery pack and allowing the motor to cool for 30 minutes, reinstall the battery pack. The thermal protector will deactivate, and cleaning can continue.

If the thermal protector continues to activate, call Customer Service at 1-800-406-2005.

LIMITED WARRANTY FOR HOOVER® ONEPWR™ PRODUCT

THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (DOMESTIC USE)

If this product is not as warranted, contact TTI Floor Care North America Customer Service at 1-800-406-2005. Have proof of purchase and model number ready.

WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This warranty applies to products purchased in the U.S., U.S. Military Exchange, or Canada. It covers original defects in material and workmanship for THREE years from the date of original purchase. Warrantor will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or ship a similar product of equal or greater value. Refunds or store credit may be issued if repair or replacement is not feasible. Parts and replacements may be new, refurbished, lightly used, or remanufactured.

WHO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: The original retail purchaser with proof of purchase from Warrantor or an authorized dealer.

WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: Commercial use; improper maintenance; misuse, negligence, neglect, vandalism; voltages other than specified; damage from acts of God, accidents, owner's acts/omissions, unauthorized service, or acts beyond Warrantor's control; use outside the country of purchase or resale; pick-up, delivery, transportation, or house calls; altered or modified products; repairs due to normal wear or use of incompatible products/accessories. Normal wear items (e.g., belts, filters, brush rolls) are not covered.

OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS: This warranty is non-transferable and non-assignable. It is governed by North Carolina law. Warranty period is not extended by repairs or replacements.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY. ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED. WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Warrantor's liability is limited to the amount paid for the product at the time of original purchase.

Some states may not allow limitations on incidental/consequential damages or implied warranties. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.

GENUINE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES: Use only genuine Hoover® solutions, parts, and accessories. Damage caused by non-genuine items is not covered and may void your warranty.
