Installation Details
Unit Dimensions and Cutout Requirements
The dishwasher has overall dimensions of 33 7/8" (Height) x 23 9/16" (Width) x 22 9/16" (Depth). The required cutout size is 33 7/8" (Height) x 24" (Width) x 24" (Depth). Note that the width without decor strips is 23 5/8" (600 mm).
Key dimensions shown in diagrams include:

- Toe-kick height: 3 9/16" (90 mm)

Included components are the drain hose (packed in the upper rack), power cord (3-prong plug), and toe-kick.
Connections
The electrical power cord and drain connections are located at the rear of the appliance. The water inlet is at the front.
Electrical Receptacle Installation: An electrical receptacle should be installed in the cabinet wall. The diagram shows a 3-prong power cord is included. A junction box accessory (SMZPCJB1UC) is available for hardwired connections.
Hardwire Installation: Similar to receptacle installation, requiring a cutout in the cabinet wall for wiring.
Water Inlet and Drain: A cutout is required on the left or right cabinet wall, depending on the location of the water inlet, drain, and electrical connection. The water inlet connection is a 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) diameter opening.
Plumbing and Drain Hose Routing
Plumbing installations should refer to local codes.
The included drain hose is 90 1/2" (230 cm) long and can be extended to a maximum of 168 1/2" (428 cm) using the approved drain hose extension kit (SGZ1010UC).
Drain Hose Height Requirement: A portion of the drain hose must be raised between a minimum of 33" (84 cm) and a maximum of 43" (110 cm) above the cabinet floor to prevent siphoning.
The diagrams illustrate non-metallic ties used for securing the hose and the process of removing a plug from the dishwasher's drain connection.
