Installation Details

Overall and Cutout Dimensions

Required Cutout Size (HxWxD): 33 7/8" x 24" x 24" (860 mm x 610 mm x 610 mm)
The installation requires a minimum cabinet height of 33 7/8" (860 mm) and can extend up to 35" (890 mm) with adjustable feet. The width of the cutout should be 24" (610 mm), and the depth 24" (610 mm). The toe-kick area has specific dimensions, and the unit can be positioned within a range of 31/2" to 43/4" (90-120 mm) from the front edge.
All main connections (water inlet, drain, electrical) are located at the rear of the appliance. A cutout on the left or right cabinet wall may be required depending on the connection locations.

Electrical Connection
The dishwasher operates on 120 V and requires a 60 Hz frequency. The power cord is 67" long. For installation length from the edge of the unit when facing the door, it is 45" on the left and 56" on the right. A junction box for hardwired connections is available as an accessory (SMZPCJB1UC).

Plumbing and Drain Hose Installation
The drain hose included is 79" (201 cm) and can be extended to a maximum of 155 3/4" (396 cm) using an approved drain hose extension kit (SGZ1010UC).
Important Drain Hose Routing: Ensure a portion of the drain hose is raised between a minimum of 33" (84 cm) and a maximum of 43" (110 cm) above the cabinet floor to prevent siphoning and ensure proper drainage.
Note: Plumbing installations may vary; always refer to local codes. Ensure non-metallic ties are used for securing hoses.
