Dimensions and Cutout Requirements

Required Cutout Size: Height: 33 7/8" (860 mm), Width: 24" (610 mm), Depth: 24" (610 mm).
Cabinet Wall Cutout: A cutout is required on the left or right cabinet wall for water inlet, drain, and electrical connections. The specific size is approximately 2 1/2 inches (63.5 mm) diameter, with a 7-inch (178 mm) clearance.
Electrical Connections
The dishwasher comes with a 3-prong power cord. For hard-wired connections, a Junction Box accessory (SMZPCJB1UC) is available.
Electrical Receptacle Installation: The diagram shows the placement of the 3-prong power cord and the required cutout on the cabinet wall for the electrical connection.
Plumbing and Drain Hose
Plumbing: Installations vary by local codes. The included drain hose is 79 inches (201 cm) and can be extended up to 155 3/4 inches (396 cm) using the approved drain hose extension kit (SGZ1010UC).
Drain Hose Placement: Ensure a portion of the drain hose is raised between a minimum of 33 inches (84 cm) and a maximum of 43 inches (110 cm) above the cabinet floor.
Diagram Description (Sink Plumbing): A diagram illustrates the drain hose connection to the sink's waste pipe. It shows the use of a non-metallic tie to secure the hose and indicates to remove a plug from the sink's waste pipe if necessary. The height requirement for the drain hose loop (min 33" / 84 cm, max 43" / 110 cm) is also depicted.
