This document provides installation guidance for the Metos D-IWD-E electronical drop-in water dispenser.
Counter Preparation Requirements
When constructing the counter, an opening for the connection cable must be considered. The opening must be at least the size of a plug with a minimum diameter of 40 mm. The edges of the opening must be finished to ensure the connection cable is not damaged by rubbing against the opening edge.
The counter, where drop-in units are installed, must be damp-proof and strong enough to bear the appliance's weight.

Installation Diagrams and Connection Details
Unit Installation Overview
The installation diagrams show the drop-in water dispenser unit mounted on a table. The main unit has approximate dimensions of 330 mm width, 225 mm height above the table surface, and 380 mm depth below the table. Key connection points are labeled: '1' for the electric connection, 'OUT' and 'IN' for water/cooling connections. The cooling unit can be placed inside the buffet unit, provided adequate ventilation is ensured. The diagram indicates specific dimensions for the unit's placement, including a 330 mm width and 350 mm depth for the housing, with cutouts for connections. An airflow indicator shows 'AIR 140 m³/h' entering the unit, highlighting the need for ventilation.
Counter Cutout Specifications
The diagrams also detail the required cutouts in the table surface. A 35 mm diameter cutout is needed for the faucet. A 130 mm diameter cutout is required for drainage. Dimensions for fastening the faucet and drainage are provided, along with a 40 mm opening for the cable, aligning with the counter preparation requirements.
Connection Specifications
The electrical box for the electronic faucet is to be fixed inside the counter. The water connection is integrated with this electrical box.
- 1. Electric Connection: 230V, single phase (~), 0.5kW, 10A. The connection cable length is 3.2 meters.
- 2. Cold Water Connection: R1/2" thread, with a maximum pressure rating of 500 kPa.
- 4. Drain Connection: Requires a hose with an 18 mm inner diameter. The hose is not included in the delivery.
