Rebel ACTIVE SUP BOARD
Model: RBA-4507
Safety Information
- Read this instruction manual carefully before inflating the board.
- This manual is not a board swimming course. If it is your first board, or you changed to a different type, familiarize yourself with the board. Ensure that the wind and water conditions are suitable and that the board can be steered.
- Use the board as intended. Pay attention to any damage caused by wear or inappropriate use.
- Every board can be damaged if used inappropriately. Always adjust speed and direction according to water conditions. Everyone using the board must wear appropriate equipment (life jacket or other flotation device).
- The board has a bulge near the valve; this is normal.
- Do not exceed the weight limitations of the board.
- Do not inflate the board with an air compressor.
- Before use, ensure all sections are inflated.
- Do not use the board in bad weather or when water conditions could prevent a safe return to shore.
- Always maintain contact with the board. Always wear a safety harness connected to the board. Wind and water currents can carry the board faster.
- Do not dive directly from the board.
- The board is not designed to be towed by a boat.
- Do not allow children to use the board without adult supervision.
- Do not drink alcohol while using the board.
- Do not use the board after dark or in poor lighting.
- Do not expose the board to direct sunlight after taking it out of the water.
- Keep the board away from sharp objects.
- The product is intended for people who can swim.
Usage
Unfolding the Board
- Unfold the board on a flat, clean surface.
- First inflation should be conducted indoors at room temperature. This makes the PVC material more flexible and the process easier.
- If the product was stored below 0°C, leave it at 20°C for 12 hours before unfolding.
Valve
- To access the valve, unscrew the security screw counter-clockwise.
- Open or close the valve by moving the spring-loaded needle.
- To close the valve: Set the needle in the upward position, press the needle, and rotate it clockwise until it locks in the upward position.
- Caution: The board valve is not fully tightened during the production process. To avoid air loss, tighten the valve using the valve key. Unscrew the security screw, insert the key, and rotate it to the "CLOSE" position. Hold the valve steady and do not overtighten.
Inflating
- Connect the pump nozzle to the board valve, rotate it clockwise, and start pumping.
- After inflating the board, disconnect the nozzle and close the security screw.
- Caution: After leaving the board in sunlight, check the board's air pressure.
Deflating
- Clean the board of water and the valve of debris.
- Unscrew the security screw.
- Press the valve needle and slowly deflate the board.
- After 10 seconds, push the valve needle all the way down until it locks in the open position.
- During deflation, prevent sand and other debris from entering the valve.
Fin Installation
- The fin can be installed when the board is inflated, as well as deflated.
Storage
- Deflate the board and remove the fin.
- Clean and check all segments and accessories (including the paddle) after each use. If the product was used in saltwater, ensure all water is removed from the board. Clean the board with mild soap; do not use detergents or silicone-based products. Ensure the board is dry before storage.
- Keep the valve open when folding the board. Close it while using the board.
- Store the board in a dry, clean place with a constant temperature. Store the board deflated and folded in its bag, or folded and slightly inflated. Do not expose the product to deformation.
- Store the paddle disassembled.
Fixing Leaks
- PVC patches are included for repairing small leaks.
- Ensure there is no sand or debris in the valve.
- Ensure the valve gasket is in place.
- Clean the board with soap and water, including the valve.
- Thoroughly clean the leak spot.
- Cut a piece of patch so it covers approximately 1.5 cm from the leak spot.
- Apply a thin layer of glue onto the patch and the leak spot. Wait 2-4 minutes until the glue sets.
- Place the patch on the leak spot and apply pressure. Do not use the board for the next 24 hours until the glue dries.
