Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Base Frame
Connect the base frame to the underside of the seat mechanism using four screws (152549) and the Allen key [tool]. The diagram shows a [person] placing the seat on a protective surface before screwing in the base.
Step 2: Install Gas Lift
Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center opening of the base frame. The diagram shows the cylinder being pushed down.
Step 3: Mount Seat Assembly
Place the seat assembly onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. The diagram shows the seat assembly being lowered onto the cylinder.
Step 4: Attach Armrests
Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat mechanism. Secure each armrest with four screws (10114349), using the Allen key [tool]. A total of eight screws are used for this step.
Step 5: Attach Backrest
Attach the backrest to the seat. The diagram shows eight clips [clip-symbol] being inserted into designated slots on the seat base to connect the backrest.
Step 6: Secure Backrest
Secure the backrest further by inserting nine additional clips [clip-symbol] into the seat base, ensuring a "Click!" sound for proper engagement.
Step 7: Reinforce Armrests
Reinforce the armrests by securing them to the seat frame with four screws (10114349) each, for a total of eight screws. This step ensures the armrests are firmly attached to the seat structure.
Step 8: Adjust Seat Height
Adjust the seat height using the lever located under the seat. Arrows [arrow] indicate the up and down movement.
Seat Cushion Attachment
Attach the seat cushion to the seat base by securing it with numerous clips. This involves inserting a total of 36 clips (18 + 2 + 8 + 3 + 5) into designated points on the seat base.
Backrest Cushion Attachment
Attach the backrest cushion to the seat. First, insert eight clips [clip-symbol] into the backrest mounting points. Then, secure the backrest by inserting nine clips [clip-symbol] into the seat base, ensuring they click into place.
Safety and Care
Warning: Only trained personnel may replace or repair seat height adjustment components with energy accumulators.
The diagram on page 14 shows a [washing machine] icon, indicating care instructions are available, and a lever under the seat, likely for height adjustment or release.
