Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of this Health o meter® weight monitoring scale. It is more than just a scale; it allows you to monitor your weight, weight changes, and compare them to your personal goal. The scale stores personal information for up to 4 different users, with the ability to save up to five records per user. It helps you achieve your physical best by providing body weight readings and monitoring your weight over time.

Keys and Icons
- 1. Weight Readout: Displays current weight.
- 2. Goal and Difference: Shows your goal weight and the difference from your previously saved weight.
- 3. Unit of Measure: Indicates pounds (LB) or kilograms (KG).
- 4. User Number and Memory Indicator: Shows which user profile is active and memory status.
- 5. Information Ready to be Saved: Indicates when data is ready for storage.
- 6. Time/Date, Start Weight, and Difference: Displays time, date, starting weight, and difference from the previous reading.
- 7. Progress Tracking Stars: Visual indicator of progress towards your goal (up to 5 stars).
- 8. SET/SAVE Button: Used to confirm settings and save data.
- 9. SCROLL/HISTORY Button: Used to navigate through options, history, and select values.
- 10. User Buttons: Buttons labeled for different user profiles (User 1, User 2, etc.).
First Time Setup
Back of the Scale:
- Select unit of measure: Press the button to choose between pounds (LB) or kilograms (KG).
- Install batteries: Insert four (4) AA batteries.
- Place the scale: Position the scale on a flat, hard surface for maximum accuracy.
Adjusting Time and Date
Set Time:
- Press and hold the SET/SAVE button until the HOUR starts blinking.
- Press or hold the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select the desired HOUR.
- Press the SET/SAVE button. The MINUTES will start blinking.
- Press or hold the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select the desired MINUTES.
- Press the SET/SAVE button. "AM" or "PM" will start blinking.
- Press the SCROLL/HISTORY button to choose "AM" or "PM".
- Press the SET/SAVE button to confirm the time setting.
Set Date:
- Press or hold the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select the desired MONTH.
- Press the SET/SAVE button.
- Press or hold the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select the desired DAY.
- Press the SET/SAVE button.
- Press or hold the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select the desired YEAR.
- Press the SET/SAVE button to confirm the date setting.
Programming/Resetting Your Weight Goal
- Press and hold the desired User button until "YES" starts blinking.
- Press the SCROLL/HISTORY button to select "YES" (to set a goal) or "NO" (to only track weight).
- Press the SET/SAVE button to store your selection.
- If "YES" was selected, enter your desired goal weight: Scroll using the SCROLL/HISTORY button to choose your weight, then press SET/SAVE to store it.
- The display will flash "SAVED" twice, followed by "- - -". The scale will then calibrate to "0.0".
- Your goal has been saved, and the scale is ready for use.
Note: Each digit is set separately. Repeat steps as needed to program your goal weight.
Using Your Weight Monitoring Scale
A. Monitoring Your Weight Over Time and Comparing it to Your Goal:
- Press one of the USER buttons. The display will show TIME and DATE, then calibrate ("- - -"), and show "0.0" with the selected unit (LB or KG).
- Step onto the scale, distributing your weight evenly. Stand still while the display shows "- - -" for approximately 3 seconds, then displays your weight. Three screens may be displayed sequentially.
- Press the SET/SAVE button to save your reading.
B. Monitoring Your Weight Over Time Without Setting Your Goal:
- Press one of the USER buttons. The display will show TIME and DATE, then calibrate ("- - -"), and show "0.0" with the selected unit (LB or KG).
- Step onto the scale, distributing your weight evenly. Stand still while the display shows "- - -" for approximately 3 seconds, then displays your weight.
- Press the SET/SAVE button to save your reading.
C. Weighing Without Selecting a User Button:
- Tap the scale platform. The scale will calibrate ("- - -") and display "0.0" with the selected unit (LB or KG).
- Step onto the scale, distributing your weight evenly. Stand still while the display shows "- - -" for approximately 3 seconds, then displays your weight.
To Save Your Reading (if profile is set):
- Step off the scale.
- Press the USER button where you want to save the information.
- Press the SET/SAVE button to save it.
Tracking Your Progress
The display awards up to five stars based on your progress towards your goal:
- 20% of difference: 1 star
- 40% of difference: 2 stars
- 60% of difference: 3 stars
- 80% of difference: 4 stars
- 100% of difference (goal achieved): 5 stars
This indicates the percentage of the difference between your starting weight and your goal weight that you have achieved.
Reviewing Saved Records (History)
Note: Two screens may be displayed for each record.
- Press the desired USER button.
- Press the SCROLL/HISTORY button to scroll through the list of saved records.
The history displays information such as memory number, date, previous reading difference, starting weight, total progress, and difference from your goal.
Resetting Data
Resetting an Individual User's History Data:
This process erases records for the selected user. The goal weight will need to be reprogrammed.
- Press and hold the SET/SAVE button and the desired USER button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- The scale will show "YES". If you select "NO", the scale will display "- - -".
Completely Resetting the Scale:
This will erase all data and cannot be recovered. Ensure the LCD display is turned off.
- Turn the scale over and open the battery compartment.
- Using a pin or pointed object, press and hold the button inside the small hole near the top for 3 seconds. The scale's memory will be reset.
Replacing the Batteries
This unit uses four (4) AA batteries. When "LO" appears on the display, replace all batteries.
Note: Removing batteries resets the Date and Time, but recorded data is not affected.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the scale. Push the locking tab and pull the cover up.
- Use the tip of a pen to loosen each battery. Hold the scale at an angle to allow batteries to slide out.
- Insert four new batteries, pressing them firmly into their slots.
- Replace the battery cover.
- Set the Time/Date (refer to "Adjusting Time and Date" section).
Troubleshooting
If "E" appears on the upper row of the display, it may indicate:
- You stepped on the scale before it displayed "0.0".
- The scale cannot detect a stable weight (stand still while weighing).
- The load has exceeded the scale's capacity (350 lb / 159 kg).
Note: The display turns off automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity.
It is normal for your weight to vary during the day and from one day to another.
Caring for Your Scale
Periodically wipe the scale surface with a DRY cloth to remove dust.
Important: Weight exceeding the capacity (350 lb / 159 kg) may damage your scale. This product is designed for personal use only, not for commercial or industrial use. This unit is not waterproof; avoid excessive moisture.

Sunbeam Products, Inc. warrants this product for five years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam will, at its option, repair or replace the product or any defective component with new or remanufactured parts. If the product is unavailable, replacement may be with a similar product of equal or greater value.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from misuse, improper voltage, use contrary to operating instructions, disassembly, or unauthorized repair. It also does not cover Acts of God (fire, flood, etc.).
