iPega PG-9076 Bluetooth Game Controller User Manual

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the iPega Bluetooth controller. This controller is designed for gaming on devices with Android 3.2v systems, tablets, phones, TV boxes, Smart TVs, Windows 7/8/10, and iOS versions 11.0-13.3.1. No additional drivers are needed.

The controller features multimedia control buttons for volume control, track switching, and play/pause.

Due to game and code updates, the controller may not function with some applications. iPega is not responsible for problems arising from game or software updates.

Buttons

The iPega PG-9076 controller features the following controls:

• Left Side: Micro USB port, LT (Left Trigger), LB (Left Bumper), Turbo button, START button, Directional Pad (D-pad), SELECT button, Left Joystick (with L3 push-down functionality), 2.4G Receiver slot.
• Right Side: Charging/RT (Right Trigger)/RB (Right Bumper) mode indicator, LED indicators, iOS button, iCADE button, A/B/X/Y action buttons, Android button, Right Joystick (with R3 push-down functionality), Power button.

Connecting to an Android Device

1. Press and hold the X button and the HOME button simultaneously for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your Android device and search for available devices.
3. Connect to the device named "PG-9076".
4. Once successfully connected, the LED indicator will light up steadily.

Compatibility

The controller supports most games available through the Android Game Center and Google Play Store. Some games, such as ShadowGun, allow for custom control mapping.

For certain online games, like PUBG, it may be necessary to download the Octopus driver application and configure the appropriate buttons within it.

Connecting to a PC

Wired Connection

1. Hold down the START button on the controller and connect it to a USB port on your computer using a USB cable.
2. When the controller is connected in wired mode, LED2 will light up. In this mode, the controller supports games designed for PS3 consoles.
3. To switch to X-input mode for broader PC compatibility, hold down the Android button for 3 seconds. LED3 will light up, indicating X-input mode.

Bluetooth Connection

1. When the controller is off, press and hold the Android button and the HOME button simultaneously to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. LED1 through LED4 will flash rapidly. (If your computer has Bluetooth functionality, proceed to step 2.2).
2. Insert the Bluetooth 4.0 receiver into a USB port on your computer. The controller drivers should install automatically.
3. The Bluetooth symbol will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.
4. Right-click the Bluetooth icon and select "Add device".
5. The controller should appear in the list of devices during the search.
6. Connect to the control unit. After a successful connection, the LED indicator should light up.
7. After connection, the control unit will enter D_INPUT mode.

Connecting via 2.4G to PS3/PC/Android Smart TV and TV Box

1. Insert the 2.4G receiver into a USB port on your PS3 system, PC, Android Smart TV, or TV box.
2. Press and hold the HOME button and the SELECT button simultaneously. All LED indicators will flash, indicating that the controller has entered pairing mode.
3. After successful connection, LED2 will light up, and the control unit is ready for use.

Functions

Mouse and Multimedia Functions

1. For media control functions to work, the device must be in mouse mode.
2. After connecting in HID mode, you can switch to mouse mode by pressing the HOME button; LED2 will light up.
3. In mouse mode, the buttons perform the following actions:
   • Y button: Volume +
   • A button: Volume -
   • X button: Previous track
   • B button: Next track
   • L2 button: Play/Pause
   • L1 button: Left mouse button
   • R2 button: Play/Pause
   • R1 button: Right mouse button
   • Left Joystick: Fast mouse movement
   • Right Joystick: Slow mouse movement
4. Pressing the HOME button once will switch you from mouse mode back to HID mode.

Turbo Function

1. Enabling Turbo: Press and hold the button you wish to apply Turbo functionality to (e.g., the A button), then press the TURBO button. The selected button will now operate in Turbo mode.
2. Disabling Turbo: First, press and hold the button that has the Turbo function activated, then press the TURBO button. The selected button will now function normally.

Charging, Sleep, and Wake-up

1. When the controller is off (press the HOME button to turn on/off) and charging, all four LEDs will flash slowly. Once charging is complete, the LEDs will turn off. If the controller is connected to another device via Bluetooth during charging, the current mode indicator will flash slowly. When charging is complete, the LED will light up steadily.
2. Sleep/Wake-up Mode: After 10 minutes of inactivity, the controller will automatically enter sleep mode. To resume use, press the HOME button, and the controller will activate.
3. In case of a low battery, the current mode indicator will flash rapidly.

Important Notes

1. Do not store the device in humid or hot environments.
2. Do not bend, hit, drop, or puncture the device to avoid damage.
3. The device has a built-in rechargeable battery. It should not be disposed of with regular household waste.
4. Do not charge the controller near fire or other heat sources.
5. Unauthorized persons outside of a service center must not attempt to disassemble the appliance. Disassembly of the device voids the warranty.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Device cannot be paired via Bluetooth.

Solution: Check if another device is connected to the control unit and disconnect it. Turn on Bluetooth and try again. If you still cannot connect, press the RESET button (a small button requiring a needle or pin) on the back of the controller and hold it for 5 seconds. Then, try connecting again.

Issue: Controller cannot be turned on.

Solution: Charge the controller before first use or after a long period of inactivity. If the indicator does not light up after connecting to charge, try replacing the charging cable with another one or press and hold the RESET button on the back of the controller with a needle.

Issue: Joystick movement or other buttons do not work correctly in the game.

Solution: Press and hold the RESET button on the back of the controller with a needle. Ensure no buttons are pressed during the pairing process.
