Buttons Overview
The iPega PG-9076 controller features a comprehensive set of buttons and ports for versatile gaming. Below is a detailed description of its layout:
- Micro USB Port: Located at the top center, used for charging and wired connections.
- LT/LB (Left Trigger/Bumper): Located on the left shoulder, used for in-game actions.
- Turbo Button: Activates or deactivates the turbo function for other buttons.
- START Button: Standard game start/pause button.
- Directional Buttons (D-pad): A cross-shaped pad for precise directional input (Up, Down, Left, Right).
- SELECT Button: Standard game select/menu button.
- Left Analog Stick + L3: A clickable analog stick for movement and camera control. L3 is activated by pressing the stick down.
- 2.4G Receiver Port: Located at the bottom center, used for connecting the 2.4G wireless receiver.
- Charging/Mode LED: An indicator light that shows charging status and current operating mode.
- RT/RB (Right Trigger/Bumper): Located on the right shoulder, used for in-game actions.
- iOS Button: Specific button for iOS mode activation.
- iCADE Button: Specific button for iCADE mode activation.

Connecting to an Android Device
To connect the iPega PG-9076 controller to an Android device via Bluetooth:
- Press and hold the "X" button and the "HOME" button simultaneously for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
- Enable Bluetooth on your Android device and search for available devices.
- Select "PG-9076" from the list of found devices to connect.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will illuminate steadily.
Compatibility
The controller supports most games from Android Game Center and Google Playstore. Some games, such as ShadowGun, allow for customizable controls. For certain online games like PUBG, it may be necessary to download the Octopus driver to properly configure the buttons. The Octopus driver can be found via a QR code or link provided by iPega.
For Android Game Center, search for "Android Game Center" in your app store.
For the Octopus Driver, search for "Octopus Driver" in your app store or refer to iPega's official support resources.
Connecting to a Computer
Wired Connection
- Hold the "START" button on the controller and connect it to your computer's USB port using a USB cable.
- When the controller is connected in wired mode, LED2 will light up. In this mode, the controller supports games on PS3 consoles.
- To switch to X-input mode for PC compatibility, hold the "HOME" button for 3 seconds. LED3 will light up, indicating X-input mode.
Bluetooth Connection
- When the controller is off, press and hold the "Android" button and the "HOME" button simultaneously to search for Bluetooth devices. LEDs 1 to 4 will flash rapidly (if your computer has Bluetooth, proceed to step 2.2).
- Insert the Bluetooth 4.0 receiver into a USB port on your computer. The driver will install automatically.
- In the bottom right corner of your screen, the Bluetooth symbol will appear. Right-click the Bluetooth icon and select "Add Device".
- The controller should appear in the list of devices during the search.
- Connect to the controller. The LED should light up steadily after connection.
- The controller will enter D_INPUT mode after connection.
Turbo Function
- Activating Turbo: Hold down the button you wish to apply the Turbo function to (e.g., "A"), then press the "TURBO" button. The selected button will now operate in Turbo mode.
- Deactivating Turbo: Hold down the button that has the Turbo function activated, then press the "TURBO" button again. The selected button will now operate normally.
Connecting via 2.4G (PS3/PC/Android Smart TV/TV Box)
- Insert the 2.4G receiver into a USB port on your PS3, computer, Android Smart TV, or TV box.
- Press and hold the "HOME" button and the "SELECT" button simultaneously. All LEDs will flash, indicating the controller has entered pairing mode.
- LED2 will light up after a successful connection, and the controller will be ready for use.
The controller can be used with various devices:
- Bluetooth Controller: For devices supporting Bluetooth.
- 2.4G Receiver: For devices connecting via the 2.4G dongle.
- PS3: Compatible with PlayStation 3.

Mouse and Multimedia Functions
- For multimedia control functions to work, the device must be in mouse mode.
- After connecting in HID mode, you can switch to mouse mode by pressing the "HOME" button once. LED2 will light up.
- In mouse mode, the button functions are as follows:

- A Button: Volume -
- X Button: Previous Track
- B Button: Next Track
- L2 Button: Play/Pause
- L1 Button: Left Mouse Click
- R2 Button: Play/Pause

- To switch back from mouse mode to HID mode, press the "HOME" button once.
Charging, Sleep, and Wake-up
- When the controller is off (press "HOME" to turn on/off) and charging, all 4 LEDs will flash slowly. Once charging is complete, the LEDs will turn off. If the controller is connected to another device via Bluetooth while charging, the current mode LED will flash slowly. Once charging is complete, the LED will light up steadily.
- Sleep/Wake-up: After 10 minutes of inactivity, the controller will automatically enter sleep mode. To wake it up, press the "HOME" button.
- In case of low battery, the current mode LED will flash rapidly.

Important Notes
- Do not store the device in humid or hot places.

Troubleshooting
- Q: Cannot pair the device via Bluetooth.
- A: Check if another device is already connected to the controller and disconnect it. Enable Bluetooth and try again. If you still cannot connect, use a needle to press and hold the "RESET" button on the back of the controller for 5 seconds. Then try connecting again.
- Q: Cannot turn on the controller.
- A: Recharge the controller before first use or after a long period of inactivity. If the LED does not light up when connected for charging, replace the cable with another one or press and hold the "RESET" button on the back of the controller with a needle.
- Q: The analog stick moves on its own, or other buttons do not work correctly in the game.
- A: Press and hold the "RESET" button on the back of the controller with a needle. Do not use any buttons during pairing.
